Edit. Czech was playing super well, but without Schick they lost a lot of goal scoring threat.

Edit I complained about the ref but see I Czech player with blood running down the neck one half without being ask to clean it shows something about lack of awerness. Should not the VAR ref tell him. Edit edit. Me friend says two players had blood running.

Party like it's 1992! It's just so surreal how well they've been playing since their loss against Finland. They definitely miss Eriksen's game-changing X-factor. But the way they fill up his absence is just... wow... I now have trouble remembering the system that they played with Eriksen. Maybe they've all collectively taken their game to another level never seen before! I don't see any other team able to psychologically recover and play their normal game after losing a talisman (even against Finland, they kept powering on and were slightly unlucky). Belgium without KDB? Portugal without Ronaldo? Croatia without Perisic? Nah...

Have to say I think beating England will be too much. Disagree think we (Denmark) showed that we can control the game, and if under pressure, we can counter attack. Czech were luck we did not score on them think England haven't faced a team that brings what Denmark brings, they maybe favorites but think win. Also England haven't beaten Ukraine yet and they are not that bad.

A team like Denmark that thrives on possession play will struggle against teams with more dominant and exertive midfield, like Italy, Spain and France. * Yes, I'm serious. It is the technical prowess of the likes of KDB, van Dijk, Fernandes that makes MC, Liverpool and MU so good.

Czechia had plenty of chances, I think their big problem was the poor finishing. Also for the first time this tournament Hjulmand did not seem to have an answer.

Also for the first time this tournament Hjulmand did not seem to have an answer. I think it's just matter of the instinctive tendency of teams to sit back after having an early lead. All top teams are guilty of this to a certain extent, including Italy, Spain, France, and even England now (letting Ukraine having a good spell of possession immediately after scoring). I'm not sure why this happens, but I reckon it's coaching instructions? Too conserve energy? To hit on the break? Whatever the reason, it's a deliberate falling-back.

But can not see how Hjulmand from a tactical point of view could have changed the finishing better because the right players got chances. Also think the heat in Baku got to denmark style and feel Wembley will allow much more energy in the play
