It is time to trade Fred VanVleet. He will not accept coming off the bench and It is time to insert Scottie Barnes in the starting point guard role. The Raptors back court is too small. FVV had a great run, however, it is time for the Raptors to move on.

OG is not reacting more quickly because he is in better physical condition or "game shape". He is a student of the league and has learned a tonne over his 6 years in the league. This is why he is reacting faster.

I still want to know what BS speech Ujiri gave Portland to get them to take Powell for Trent Jr.

Who does everyone have? I think this one comes down to refs personally. We allow more physicality, I like Team Red. We call more ticky tack stuff I think Lebron and Curry benefit more.

Either way I think this match up is really interesting because it's a match up of the Immovable Object (Red) vs the Unstoppable Force (Gold)

People make too much about physicality. It is not the only rule change made in the last 20-30 years. Players in the late 90s whined about zone defenses so much when it was first legalized. Team Red doesn't have a zone buster unless McGrady gets hot. On the other hand, Shaq isn't the best center to pair with Magic and Lebron and probably even Steph.

ive watched rodman while he was with the bulls, and he was always guarding the post, so not sure how good he was at guarding in the perimeter. i think that definitely would be the biggest question mark on the red team.

gold team, probably steph's size, jordan/tmac/pippen would be taking him into the post all game, altho red team def dont have the spacing/shooting to take advantage of all the double teams they would be getting.

id go with gold team overall.

In the past 8 years the Raptors failed to sell out less than a handful of times as ticket prices skyrocketed. Welp, ticket prices have been falling recently AND ... they failed to sell out today.
It has been a damn long honeymoon... but its over.

i think its great that Embiid has found a 20+ year old derogatory motion that is not officially covered by the NBA's team of thought police. Any of 1000 other gestures would result in a fine for Embiid.
