Oh well we have looked so bad, this back 4 iteration is the worst one we have had so far, Frank has got this one wrong. Nice goal from Kovacic though, his first in 120 games or something nuts! Maxi Gomez also has miss of the season wrapped up right? | ||

In traditional interpretation it's a fine goal. The Mertenz foul is a bit questionable and potentially even malicious, but you can't expect refs to catch everything in contact situations. Meanwhile if the VAR intervenes on these midfield fouls that lead to goals, it's definitely something that should've been considered there. Edit: The offisde ruling on the goal is questionable too. It's a close call either way, but it looks like they're interpreting the player positions in an odd way again.
