I think it'll likely be just a fine, but I do feel there's an interesting angle for UEFA here too.

NI was totally gassed in second half, we had like endless possession but still could not even give Luuk de Jong some simple header opportunities. Just no danger at all. If they don't miss that penalty we lose.. Gini and Mephis turn out to be dearly missed. And our chances for top seed are not all lost, Estonia is a lot easier than NI so lets see you win first.

I think it's really stupid not to play for a win here, we might be in pot 3 now (which means we could draw a group with France and Portugal in it). Northern Ireland are out of it now, no way they're going to get a result vs Germany. I have no idea how the playoffs work, but doesn't a win help them for that?

Would be great to get one of those teams in your Euro group! Meanwhile Portugal for some reason always got awful performance during qualifier O_o

Apparently Group B is already defined with Belgium, Denmark and Russia in it. The winner of the last Euros and Nations league is given a golden spot at Pot 3 and a practically automatic group of death.

No idea who thought that was a good idea, both Fifa and Uefa ranking should be better than qualifying group performance, given how ridiculously imbalanced the groups can be.

The Club can today announce that Mauricio Pochettino and his coaching staff Jesus Perez, Miguel D’Agostino and Antoni Jimenez have been relieved of their duties. Chairman, Daniel Levy, said: "We were extremely reluctant to make this change and it is not a decision the Board has taken lightly, nor in haste. “Regrettably domestic results at the end of last season and beginning of this season have been extremely disappointing. “It falls to the Board to make the difficult decisions - this one made more so given the many memorable moments we have had with Mauricio and his coaching staff - but we do so in the Club's best interests. “Mauricio and his coaching staff will always be part of our history. I have the utmost admiration for the manner in which he dealt with the difficult times away from a home ground whilst we built the new stadium and for the warmth and positivity he brought to us. I should like to thank him and his coaching staff for all they have contributed. They will always be welcome here. “We have a talented squad. We need to re-energise and look to deliver a positive season for our supporters.” We shall provide an update on new coaching staff in due course. https://www.tottenhamhotspur.com/news/2019/november/mauricio-leaves-club/
