Not hard to fool the Ref on the field anyways. Well, if fooling the ref on the pitch is easy and it's harder to fool the VAR, doesn't that show that it has a purpose? Imo, the biggest problem with the VAR currently is that people expect it to be 100% correct, while for it to have value all it needs to be is better than the ref. Hazard carried Chelsea last season. It's kind of crazy to see him struggle.

Barça 1-3, Bayern 1-5, PSG defeat. Both Atleti and Real Madrid draws. MCity and Liverpool with lucky victories at the end of the match. That 8-0 for leipzig. Arsenal draw is not a surprise, Emery can't be defended anymore. And I don't know what to think about VAR anymore. In both Chelsea vs Watford and Atleti vs Sevilla the calls were so bad that it hurt my brain.

I don't know about the red card but it doesn't really matter.

No real surprise there I guess. Edit: Although to me, as someone who has only watched one game of theirs this season - the 7-2 away win vs Tottenham, I'm a bit surprised that they've had such a poor start.

My gut instinct says that Mourinho could be better at some slight underdog where he can draw from the Porto success more. The rigid and conservative giants don't seem to be working out for him at all. In that sense he might be better at Dortmund than at Bayern in current state of mind. I'm a bit surprised if Bayern don't have some successor in mind already. While the results haven't been ideal, I don't think they've been spiraling out of control so badly that they absolutely had to force a move this very second unless they felt like they had an upgrade available. Maybe it's Mourinho or maybe it's some of the usual suspects in Bayern management rumors.
