I don't see anywhere near the same problems in some other leagues. Then again, didn't England have the same level of complaining about their refs prior to VAR anyway?

Bayern is a big, and major club all over the world so I would think they would be searching for a big name with a solid history of getting results.

The way things went at Man Utd for Mourinho was received very poorly in Munich. Rumors I've seen so far are Ralf Rangnick (Sporting Director at Leipzig and their coach before Nagelsmann), Wenger (only until the end of the season), Massimo Allegri (who the bosses are apprehensive about because he doesn't speak German) and Eric ten Hag, who Bayern realize they most likely won't be able to hire this season. Maybe they'll have Flick do the rest of the season if he does well in the next 2 games.

Let me remind you this is the team that presented Salihamidzic (who had no prior experience beyond being a former Bayern player) as sporting director after searching for well over 1 year, since they were unable to get their preferred choices of Philipp Lahm or Max Eberl. The club that tried for months to convince Jupp Heynckes to postpone his retirement for another season (which he had ruled out from the very start) and subsequently missed signing Thomas Tuchel (reportedly among other targets but Tuchel was their A plan if no Heynckes), ending up with Kovac at the end of it all. Plus their embarassing behavior on the transfer market this summer window. And on top of it all I don't think they expected Kovac to offer his resignation. Keep in mind it's only been a month since the 7-2 against Tottenham.

The more I look at the names suggested here, the less I like the idea of managerial change right now. It feels like they either think Mourinho still has it, ten Hag is available or they've got some highly rated unknown professsional outside the recognized top managers.

Bayern is not a team that plays in Germany away and loses 5-1 It wasn't only this one game. We only have 5 victories out of 10 games in the Bundesliga, which is terrible considering how much better our roster is compared to the other BL teams. Also there is no clear playstyle and even in the games we won we played terrible and only succeeded because of luck or Lewa being amazing. In addition to that kovac had some unlucky choice of words in interviews, always blaming bad play on his players or outside conditions. He just had go, even if we won or drew to Frankfurt. I am glad that we had this game as a final trigger. For now, Hansi Flick will take over and Hoeneß already stated that the plans for the new coach will be revealed after the national break. I don't think Mourinho will be the one. Rumours tell that it is going to be Allegri, Rangnick or Ten Haag. Maybe there is going to be a temporary solution until the summer and after that we get Ten Haag. I guess Heynckes already changed his phone number :D

Most likely, and I hope it will, Ten Haag after season end with a temporary solution from Bayern - that'd be nit. Also I hope Barca will demolish on Camp Nou today ~~

Also, Bayern has been in contact with Tuchel, so I guess he has to be considered now too. Edit: Not actually sure if Carra is trolling or twitter or not. The whole situation is so absurd that it's pretty hard to grasp what's reasonable here. Edit2: Yeah, it's trolling. Contexts are a hard thing in Twitter sometimes, especially after one beer ![]()
