Napoli vs Liverpool looked like a cracking game from the highlights. Both teams had loads of chances and both keepers made great saves. Liverpool a little unlucky to lose it but you have to take your chances in the Champions League and Napoli had plenty of chances too to be fair. I don't think Liverpool fans will be too concerned Napoli and Liverpool will go through. Why was the stadium empty? The offical stated attendance was 38,878. But all the stands looked empty in the video I just watched. Chelsea have looked a bit better than I expected them to this year. I wrote here at the end of last year that they were going to be awful and there's actualy some really promising football been played. Robbo got touch on the ball, pushed it away. The attacker saw that and went for a full contant while pre-emptively diving. If Robbo didn't get the ball and if attacker didn't go for a full dive even before the contact, it could be argued to be within the reasonable error margin. Now it looks like the very case VAR should remedy. Edit: Not as bad as I initially thought it was. Soft, probably should be overturned, but I can see at least some argument it standing as it is. | ||

We had such a good track record with it before september 2019 and now it seems like all refs over Europe got the call not to use it muxh anymore | ||

The goals I've seen from him have often felt a bit sloppy defending, but he seems to do it consistently enough that it's hard to call it a fluke much longer. | ||
