No idea who hs ie haha. Came from Eintracht Frankfurt. He's a rather offensive, creative LB, lacks a bit on the defensive side and I believe Frankfurt's coach didn't like his work rate. Liverpool still looks strong as ever, even though they were down that victory never seemed in danger. Fully agree, and they're going to look even stronger once Alisson is back

Well Chelsea game was fun xD 5-2 in the end but we looked very good and Tammy with a great hatrick. No idea what to make of us at the moment but this back 3 sure did make us look better.

United squeaks past Leicester. A win is a win even though it was a boring grindy match

As far as I can tell, all Chelsea goals this season are by their academy players. Also, I think someone tweeted that they've also already played more youth players this season than any previous seasons since become a title contending team.

Norwich denied a clear penatly. ManCity getting big team bonus
Why do we have VAR when the officials still cant decide to be blind if they want to...
|
True. Like in PSG game today with an obvious penalty and an onside goal disallowed.
|
What is even happening in this Man City game? I would never have expected them to be behind at any point in the game, much less by 2 with 20 minutes to go
|
City subs today:
Out: Gundogan, In: De Bruyne Out: David Silva, In: Gabriel Jesus Out: Bernardo Silva, In: Mahrez
That's some insane depth right there.
|
Leipzig - Bayern ends 1-1. Very fun game with some insane saves from both goalkeepers. Bayern probably should have won but they just couldn't get the ball in more than once. Likewise Leipzig only got past Neuer by penalty.

5 points gap between Pool an City now...
What an upset win by Norwich
|
Before anyone mentions injury problems or missing Laporte for City: Norwich has way bigger injury problems than City has. So that is ZERO excuse
|
Congrats to Norwich, I hope we don't get upset tomorrow

Quite funny how managers like Klopp and Pep continue to try rest their main players at every chance and it always backfires on them to an extent at least. Today vs Newcastle Klopp rests Firminho who makes them tick like no one else in that squad does. Without him at 1-0 down and eventually 1-1 it looked a very even game. On comes Firminho who just instantly makes an impact and his touches, winning the ball back and everything just makes it an easy night.
Now to Pep, every week he continues to play Gundogan and Rodri together and leaves out one of Bernado, David Silva or DeBruyne, this week was DeBruyne turn who again is arguably the second best City player behind Sterling, and they looked awful going forward. They eventually looked a bit better but still don't get why these top managers continue to do this.
This is also why with Liverpool especially if they ever got Firminho out injured for a time they are in big trouble, but as of right now they are flying and not looking like losing any time soon.
Chelsea vs Liverpool next weekend....thats gonna be a big one. If Liverpool win its practically over already!
|
Managers need to do that because they want those players 100% fit when they play the big games. And you'd hope that your team could beat teams like Newcastle and Norwich without them...

Man I'm just so happy to see Teemu Pukki killing it in the premier league, he's really fulfilled his potential in the last four seasons, the last two in particular obviously. Most of the stuff he's doing now is what he's done for years, only now he does it constantly and against world class players.

Atletico straight up lost a "free win" la liga imo with that loss. Their squad looked so strong and they got the perfect start with 3/3 with Barca and Real Madrid still on siesta it felt like so far. Still they sit top right now but that 1 point lead needed to be 4 with Barca still without Messi and Real Madrid still trying to find themselves post Ronaldo.

Yes free win La Liga like it has been for the past 4 seasons where Barca were like 8 points clear by 2nd international break and such xD (ofc free win is over exaggeration of my point)

I'm hoping Özil has a good game today. He deserves it
