I saw a headline that read "Dolphins Trade Fitzpatrick to Steelers for a first round pick" and I was like, Ryan?

I somehow came to the conclusion that managers who save their faab vs those who already spent it will gain a $.78 advantage in winning a bid. I think that’s a 11% advantage
Values: 12 managers $100 faab $6.25/week (assuming all managers spend 100 by week 16) $6.25 * 12 managers = $75/week $150/week subtracted from $1200 league pool (assuming there are two “must have” break out players a week) X managers who are still spending $6.25/week vs Y managers who are spending >$6.25/week Subtract $150/week to Y managers pool = $5.47/week Take the difference between X and Y = $.78
X managers will have a $.78 winning bid advantage over Y managers. Or a 11% chance in winning bid
Idk what I’m doing. Someone help me.

Idk what I’m doing. Someone help me. A little quantitative analytics never hurt anybody. Have fun theory-crafting a NFL algorithm
Well my top 5 teams changed a lot from Week1 1. Patriots 2. Packers 3. Ravens 4. Chiefs 5. 49ers
Honorable Mention: Seahawks
Rivers playing the way he did knocked the Chargers off the list Brees being out for 8 weeks Knocked them off the list I don't trust Bridgewater Rams didnt really have competition once Brees went down and I think Gurley is still hurt so they aren't top 5 I have to put Ravens above the Chiefs for now but after they play each other next week ill have to reevaluate I have stong confidence that after week 3, the niners, pats, and packers will be 3-0 Cant tell if Mahomes is better than Rodgers yet but Ill give Rodgers the benifit of the doubt.

I'm so happy Eli is on the way out. Now there are no Manning's in the way of Brady and every SB until 2025. This is a glorious day.

Daniel Jones wins out and gets to the super bowl. 4th quarter game tied at 17 giants have the ball and Daniel gets hurt. Eli comes in and escapes 3 sacks to toss it up to Saquon Barkley who catches it on his helmet and then laterals it to Evan Ingram for a TD as time expires. Brady retires on the sideline

Half expecting da Bears front office reaching out to J Cutler asking him to unretire so Chi town can actually generate some offense. I bet J could do more after being out of football for a couple years than Mitch. J even beat Brady and the Pats the season he played for the Dolphins. Would be an interesting proposition at least.
Any guesses on whats going to happen with AB now that Goodell interviewed the accuser?

^ Slap on the wrist, trial will go nowhere and a settlement will be reached. Max 2 game suspension just due to the headache. Not expecting much, unfortunately.
Also, would LOVE to see Smokin' Jay Cutler come back and sling it for the Bears. He doesn't give a FUCK.
Also, even as a Pats fan, I'm happy for Daniel Jones. Dude got lambasted when he got drafted and turned out to be one of the most promising rookie QBs. I'm excited to see what he can do with this flaccid team, and fuck Eli.

I hate Eli's face, but I love how he made the Patriots cry.

The problem for DJ is the Giants are really bad.

Anyone think the Flacco to E. Sanders connection is the real deal? He’s peppering him with a lot of targets the last two games and he’s still sitting in waivers. I wonder if he’s worth going a large amount for.

He's good, I've always had a good time having E. Sanders in my team these past few years, just watch him more closely in the late season. He recently tore his achilles last year.

So what his Mahomes contract gonna be like in a couple years? im guessing something like 5 year 200 million almost fully guaranteed.
|
Did he sign a new one? I think that wouldn't be too far off, but for that kind of money, from the Chiefs, he'll need to get them to the conference championship game and be close to winning it vs the Patriots. If he makes it to the SB, then he's getting that deal next year.

Mahomes should give some of his contract to Luck for getting out of KC's way :p Although, if the Colts use their gigantic amount of cap space to grab Ramsey, maybe they can still have a shot at KC!
