If you have a QB like Brady, you should focus your team building on the defensive side. That is what won Tom Brady all those titles, and not doing that is why Peyton Manning doesn't have a couple of extra titles in Indy. If you have and elite QB, you give him a good O-Line (NE was 9th in Football Outsiders ratings), and then focus on the defense, and expect the QB will make everyone else on offense good enough. If that didn't work this season that means that either: 1) Brady had the worst offensive weapons of any elite QB ever; or 2) Brady isn't elite anymore and you need a Ravens level team around him. #1 Is the model that made the Pats a dynasty. #2 Is the model that lets a team win for 1-2 years. | ||

I think Brady still has it in him, but he needs help in the WR department for damn sure. White, Michel, and Burkehead can all do work in a backfield. They need help stretching the field. | ||
