![]() But yeah, it was a great race overall and by some specific drivers specifically including one Liam Lawson; 2 very juicy points for him. Red Bull has a bit of a luxury problem with their drivers now I'd say.

The story goes that whichever Ferrari driver is ahead after Monza is the #1 driver the rest of the season. Not sure how accurate this is. Reading so many comments about Tsunoda about to get kicked, Lawson+Ric next year etc. It's like I'm watching a different season to everyone else, Tsunoda has been amazing in a shitty car, been very unlucky in Singapore but I expect/hope a strong Japan performance. Meanwhile Danny Ric didn't really impress, and he's a bit washed let's be honest. Tsunoda + Lawson much better pairing for the alpha tauri imo. This all assumes the Norris to RB rumors are true, I'm not sure about that tbh. Would be good for my boy Piastri though. Singapore was yet another race where Norris had all the upgrades and Oscar had like half. Clear #2 driver atm and it's a shame cause I think he's actually better than Norris.

The Norris rumors are not to be taken seriously indeed, for 2024 at least.

With how Lawson is performing right now, I am worried for Tsunoda. AT seems to me to be going for Ricc in the experienced driver role, with the rookie driver role up for grabs. Tsundoa has performed decently for his 3 seasons in F1 and can no longer be considered a rookie. Maybe I'm overhyping Danny Ric like most of the fan base currently

Another bad race by Checo. All NA drivers are getting destroyed by their team mates this season. Edit: If Ricciardo does well when he comes back and outperforms Tsunoda RB should consider to not honor Perez's contract and have him replaced by the Australian for 2024. Then have Lawson race alongside Yuki. Daniel won't push Max much harder than Checo probably (which is not a bad thing anyway) but he'd qualify better and won't halfheartedly dive bomb midfielders collecting damage and penalties for no reason. Also Liam clearly deserves that F1 seat; Let's not waste talent. Now I know Perez is still 2nd in the championship but if the competition is closer next year, RB really can't afford losing the amount of points the 2nd driver has already this year.

Max can solo carry RB in the constructors next year too. He's going to win another astounding amount of races. Perez just needs to stop fucking crashing and wasting money while not scoring many points. If he can just consistently find the top 5/6, his seat is fine for next season. That being said, I would love Danny Ricc to return to Red Bull for one last season (at least) before Red Bull promote another junior (Yuki or Lawson) to the 2nd seat to get ready to replace Max as the top dog once he's ready to retire.
