Morata scored! Funny how Chelsea Twitter totally ignored his miss XD I felt Barkley's goal and assist masked an otherwise average performance. I have again the same issues with him. He doesn't bring the ball forward enough, always looking to release the ball. One particular moment near the 48th minute when he receives a ball from luiz and immediately passed sideways to jorginho despite having loads of space behind him. Luiz was visible frustrated... I was more impressed by kovacic few minutes. So comfortable and confident with the ball. We really need our centre mids to link with our strikers if we want to proceed forward.

Everybody keeps talking about Chelsea, Pool and City (and Mourinho) while Arsenal has been quietly getting their stuff running alright. I'm not sure if they're ready to contest the top tier yet, but the win streak is still way more solid than what we're used to seeing from Arsenal. I think them and Pool are the two teams that haven't dropped any points to teams outside the usual big 6. Think the key has been lacazette and torreira getting the minutes.

Still prefer hazard's against Liverpool because this goal felt fluke-ish, in that arsenal didn't have control of the ball during the sequence of passes. Morata scored! You hate my boy Barkley ![]() I am well and truly biast in favor of Barkley because of potential and him being English, but still his stats today was the best passing accuracy of everyone at 94%. Gave a goal and assist. He played just like Kovacic with his pressing and passing and off the ball runs. Was his best game for us and still not even at his best, believe in him :D

We already have a passer in jorginho whose role is to play simple passes to our attackers in space to attack. We don't need another of such passer in the field. Funny thing is that he likes to pass back to jorgunho lol.

in bundesliga, bayern dropped 7 in 7 and are in 7th place meanwhile in the premier league chelsea liverpool and city are undefeated dropping 4 points each - liverpool's two draws coming from games against city and chelsea. Juventus looks certain to run away with the serie a trophy. PSG is 9-0-0 with +26 goal difference. PSV is 8-0-0 with 30-3 GD.

Well for the past 15 years, Barcelona or Real has already ended up top 2 of the league, and 11 of those years those two shared the top 2 positions - so yea unless this is going to change for the next 4-5 years them EPL fans are still going to be right...

I wouldnt really call Barca and Reals performance failing spectacularly. Thats kinda insulting to mid tier spanish teams that consistently wreck English teams of the same level (and often higher) in Europe. ???? ![]() ????????? ![]() ?????????? ?????? The difference are barely anything, even accounting for the extra match week, a bit early to be saying these things. Big woop. + Show Spoiler + (and thats thanks to Leicester profiting from PL teams at their all time worst lol) Every year its the same deal with hype around over rated English teams and the title race ends up being like 2 maybe 3 teams at most by January, yet people sit and pretend like title race got so many contenders.. I suppose the actors do change slightly more often than La liga but thats about it.

I think it was some nice collection of betting odds. I can try to dig up the stuff if necessary, I went through some of it when this talk popped up last time. Edit: At least my flimsy googling can't figure it out now. This season La Liga is looking much more even though, probably due to both Barca and RM looking quite vulnerable last season while PL is much more biased towards pool & city.
