Not saying it wasnt, but slowmotion can sometimes be terrible to judge such things. Also you have to remember this is english football....where you actually have contact and stuff like these little shoves happen quite often. | ||

KobraKay is right, the FA is either arguing that the shove was not enough and totally blown out of proportion or that the player on the ground held his face instead of the chest intentionally in order to try to deceive the referee into harsher punishment. I don't agree either and the FA has not released official reasoning because they were hurried as the banned player had a game a few hours after the ruling yesterday. Will be interesting to see what happens with appeals next week. | ||

I know. But this was probably our best game this season so far... We were playing like we should be... like a good team from the 2nd Bundesliga, yet we couldn't score goals. Meanwhile Darmstadt were playing like a solid 3rd League team but scored on 2 of their 3 shots  The only reason I'm not completely unhappy is, that we should have been playing with only 10 players since the 1st half. That was one brutal foul. And because it was Patrick Schönfeld who scored the equalizier. He was ill for half a year, got substituted into the game in the 88th minute for his first minutes since a long time and immediately secured a point for us 3 minutes later. Stadion went crazy. | ||

Btw drone: you told me that I had no reasons to whine being a dortmund fan. We are out of Europe, 6 points behind in BL, lost our best way to gain points to bayern (losing home game right now) and are now 3rd behind Leipzig. I judged my whining based on the games, not the result. Predicting how dortmund is going to fare was not hard if you watched the games... At the rate BVB is plummeting atm, we might even fall so much behind that we could lose direct CL qualification for this season... | ||
