Well France Sweden is more interesting anyway, dazn best. wow they show all quali games? sky doesn't.

Somehow France is still France. Great individual players but somehow they play so conservative and slow, lacking direction and drive.

Gomez is probably the only German player in football history who looks bad vs San Marino

From what I saw Hinrichs looked worse. But against San Marino you can barely call it a real football game so how do you judge that.

result: yellow for both the guy pulling the pants(but he already had one, so yellow->red) and the guy losing his pants. Another Greek also getting a red for insulting the ref.

LOL that was hilarious why did the guy who got his pants pulled down get a yellow? Next time someone's on a yellow card pull their pants down to get them sent off :D

What more you need for a yellow?

any germans able to add to this? seems pretty prodigy-esque to take a team from the brink of relegation to top 3.

Interesting about the Hoffenheim guy, but i would like to see at the end of this season what happens. I mean what he has done is very good but lets see if he can get a full season of impressive results.

Yes he seems to be doing a great job. However, I believe Hoffenheim always had some quality players and never should have been close to qualification anyway. Equally, 3rd place might be just a temporary high mark.
So my impression: If you take a way the statistical quirks, he has taken a about mid-table side and transformed them into a real contender to qualify for the europa league, and with a bit of luck (read: Bigger teams continue failing) even champions league. Not quite the hyperbole bbc seem to be making out of it, but very impressive nevertheless.

CR 68 international goals now, sheesh.

I immediatly realized that he was a good coach last season, but as mafe stated Hoffenheim was really underperforming before he arrived so I didn't hype him that much. What he does this season though is really impressive so far. Let's see if he can keep it up. In the Bundesliga alot of unusual teams are performing well at the moment: Hoffenheim, Cologne, Hertha Berlin and ofc RB Leipzig (who spent quite alot of money but nobody thought that they would be successful so early already) while the usual suspects are lacking (Dortmund, Leverkusen, Wolfsburg, Gladbach and Schalke)
