any germans able to add to this? seems pretty prodigy-esque to take a team from the brink of relegation to top 3. I immediatly realized that he was a good coach last season, but as mafe stated Hoffenheim was really underperforming before he arrived so I didn't hype him that much. What he does this season though is really impressive so far. Let's see if he can keep it up. In the Bundesliga alot of unusual teams are performing well at the moment: Hoffenheim, Cologne, Hertha Berlin and ofc RB Leipzig (who spent quite alot of money but nobody thought that they would be successful so early already) while the usual suspects are lacking (Dortmund, Leverkusen, Wolfsburgs, Gladbach and Schalke) though with leverkusen and the like we can expect them to start performing again as soon as they can fully concentrate on bundesliga. has been like this the last years as well, not having a deep roster hurts... concerning nagelsman, he is a new era coach "laptop trainer" and im sure there will be more of his caliber coming up in the next years as soon as people realize how football will be more and more driven by mathematics and technology.

does laptop trainer mean hes good at football manager and has implemented his fm tactics to the real life game? sign me up for coach

Well Laptop Trainer itself is actually more used by established old farts to make fun of young talent, but i thought it actually paints a fitting picture. Im sure he will be one of the coaches considered to follow tuchel in dortmund.

I'm not understanding the conversation here ^.^
Austrian: Aussies draw vs Thailand Australian: lol you guys are so shit
Now I actually had to look who was playing Thailand, because I at first felt that someone misused the term "Aussies". It was 2-2 between Thailand and Australia.

Theory. 1) the Aussie isnt an Aussie and just lives in Aussieland and thought the Austrian was an Aussie.
Theory 2) Reading is hard. Also applies to Theory 1, but in this case we are taking totally blindness level of hard.

What to do in colombia? Our "best" players are subs at their clubs. The lack of playtime is killig james. Fuck zidane and fuxk madrid leave somewhere you get to play.
Same with cuadrado, needs to play 90 mins every sunday

So why won't the Argentina National Team no longer speak to the press?

Because some journalist said that Lavezzi was smoking weed in the hotel.
True ? Who knows, but this whole ban to the press does seems suspicious.

I actually thought the "XD" at the end made it quite obvious. :D

Goat just being goat against Colombia, holy shit.

Chile had the most Uruguayan game of their life, after playing super bad the first half, we somehow equalize at the end of it and managed to win it in the second with an Alexis that was superb
Btw, Bravo has stopped penalties from Neymar, Suarez, and Messi

So FC Suwon get relegated and the first Korean football team not backed by a major Chaebol returns to second tier football. Not suprising but still a little sad. I hope they enjoyed their season in the top division and I hope more communties feel the pashion and drive to form natural local clubs built on the back of supporters pashion not big coperate backing. Korea just straight up needs more teams, more competition.
Incheon crawled over Seongnam to force the latter with a strong history in top flight and international cup competition into the relegation play off. Going the other way Gagwon will hope to beat Seongnam and return to the top flight. They will be joining Daegu who finished second but will be promoted on account of the Ansan (not for much longer) Police team moving cities and thus been disqualified from promotion.
It's interesting that I no longer live in Korea but care far more about their league than China's. I have a girlfriend here in China and have commited to staying another year in Beijing to see how things go with that. I really should go check out some Chinese games and try and get into it a little bit.
I really want Arsenal to beat United this weekend. But I am meant to be neutral in the Premier League supporting a lower league side and I can't quite put my finger on why I want Arsenal to win. Also why is there still specualtion about Wenger becoming the next England manager in the UK press. That makes no sense to me what so ever. The only possible reason I can think of him doing that is so that he stops been hounded about not spending any money.

Arsenal is definitely one of the teams I'm cheering for this season (prolly liverpool most of all), but I kinda hope they lose against united. United has to win to stay in the title race, and it's more fun the more teams are up there.
Also while I agree united has been disappointing so far, there are positives. They've already played away field games against all current top 3 teams. Aside from those, you have a disappointing draw vs stoke (result 1-1, 24-7 in shots, 67-33 possession) and burnley (result 0-0, 38-7 shots, 19-1 corners, 72-28 possession), and the 1-3 loss vs watford (where united had 15 shots to watford's 10, 60-40 possession)
Basically, the team has a lot of potential. With reasonable finishing (and honestly, reasonable luck), they'd be like 7-2-2, 1 point behind arsenal and city, and with the three toughest games of the season behind them. It's not great, but I can totally see them catching up to the top teams at a later point of the season if they improve just a tiny bit and get some 'flow' going. However, if they lose now, there might be 4 teams more than 9 points ahead of them after 12 matches.

Results dont matter to me personally in the PL, I just like watching good footy and the team that entertains me is the one that gets my vote. Liverpool is amazingly fun to watch. Score goals.. let a few in.. but keep scoring. The other thing is that, while they have some impact players like Coutinho (and surprisingly Lallana), the squads balance in terms of contribution is fantastic. And finally, alot of these players seemed absolutely hopeless a year ago.
If Arsenal loses a Sanchez, Ozil or Kosceilny their play will see a dip. Same for Chelsea to some degree.
Liverpool doesnt seem to show that problem. They might have a dip for other reasons sure but I dont see it because they lost a player which is something I am quite enjoying about their play.
