No. O.K. I will watch the game. But after looking at Slovenia on the map I am now far more interested in how Trieste became completely surrounded by Slovenia. Reading the history of Trieste on Wikiepedia sounds like a far more interesting way to spend the next 45 mins. edit: Some how I always manage to forget that Austria once had an empire too. | ||

 England team is pretty lackluster right now, nothing going forawrd, nothing of note at the back. Midfielders like Dier who do not deserve to be professionals. Alli thinks he is Messi, Sturridge thinks he Ronaldo, it's hilarious. At least when Rooney plays striker you get someone who runs around and actually physically tries for 90 minutes. Wallcott also, last two games clearly proved without Ozil passing him the ball he is useless too. We need a rebrand out of 4-3-3 for a start and dare i say it we missed Sterling so much at least he takes people on, the one thing that any football fan wants to see, a guy with the ball going past a player! | ||

edit: Here's a fact I didn't know; Huddersfield Town won the First Division 3 seasons in a row (1923–24 - 1925–26). They have a fancy new stadium and strong (although it's only a little town) fan base. Maybe I shouldn't be so suprised they are in contention to make it to the Premier League. | ||

Wait. Isn't the England team pretty much exactly the same team that you were hyping into the stratosphere just a few months ago? I distinctly remember you raving about how England would win the world cup because they have the best team since the 60s or so. The ONLY thing that happened to the team is a change of coach from someone you didn't like anyway to some random dude. Well, they also performedc poorly at the Euro, as everybody else expected, but you hyped that team like they were the best thing since sliced bread... | ||

Issue is we went from having a good identity under Hodgson in the qualifying games and the squad was all playing the way he wanted too. The downfall of that is he did not give a shit about his opponents, he focused to much on his own players and how he wanted them to do stuff. The defending in that European championships were awful and that was our downfall, our attacking play wasn't terrible, we were unlucky at times but no excuse for giving the ball away for fun at the back and leaving big gaping holes. Don't get me starting on the marking for the Iceland game! The England team from last two games has been a new system in which it didn't have a style and no one seem to know any other player on the pitch. I can go on and on, but there is issues needing to be addressed going forward for sure. | ||

Little kid enjoyed his trp to Craven Cottage and was so impressed with Tom Cairney's performance he sent him his pocket moeny. So cute. Footballers should definately be paid based on performance. On a vaguely related note what the hell are United going to do do with Rooney. If he really is surplus to requirement and they are contracted to pay him £300,000 untill 2019. No other clubs going to want to match that for him. Been needed (arguably) by England maybe he will do the right thing and be willing to except less money elsewhere to get game time and stay match fit. But he's well within his rights to do a Demba Ba and just sit on the bench for the money. He's old enough to do it without fucking up his carrer and end up working in China. ....not that you have fucked up your carrer if you end up working in China. | ||
