lmao again at Pogba's transfer We'll start our own Champions league! :D yeah Pogba is the most expensive player in history and he just looks so ordinary. I know it's still early, but he really should be bossing the midfield against us and yet he just looks lost. He'll probably make me eat my words later in the season, but for now I'm just going to point and do a Nelson laugh.
You dont understand BRO.. the economics just make sense. Pogba will sell mucho shirts and United will make record revenues.

Having not seen the United-Feyenoord game it strikes me as disrespectful the way the English media talk about it as if United should expect to beat Feyenoord easyily if they bother to turn up. Maybe times have changed and that is now true but Dutch teams used to be pretty scary opponents in European competition.
So what am I asking here? erm I guess anyone that watched the game where united really that bad and lackluster last night? And anyone with deeper understanding of Dutch football than me (able to name more than 4 teams) What is the quality of the Dutch League these days. The UEFA Country Ranking has Netherlands down in 14th below the Czech, Swiss and Croatian Leagues. I would be surprised if that statistical analysis reflects the actual strength of the clubs.
edit: I have just noticed the stats I was looking at are actually for next years Ranking Coefficient and The Netherlands is ranked a bit higher than that because the Dutch clubs had a pretty good time in the Europa League and Ajax won a couple of group games in the Champions League in the 2011-2012 season which is the last season counted this year. Next year those 13.600 points disappear and the Netherlands hasn't managed better than 6points sine then. So unless the Dutch clubs impress this year things are not looking good.
edit 2: I was trying to work out how far the Netherlands have to fall to lose their Champions League group stage spot for the Champions. This year Turkey have the last one in 12th and the Champions of Grecee (13th) have to go through one round of qualification. So If the Dutch do fall to 14th next year as they are in line to do right now they won't have an automatic Champions League Group place anymore.
edit 3: I've been wasting my time because UEFA are changing everything anyway aren't they. Oh well

I only saw the highlights but I'm not convinced he's good, just always looks like he's strolling around kinda like Berbatov, also his finishing is supposed to be good but he missed a lot of chances vs. Hull and vs. Feyenoord today.
Rojo/Darmian couldn't keep up with Feyenoord's wingers but that's expected.

Okay where to start haha. I would say the quality of the league was pretty poor and the coefficients you looked up pretty much confirm that. The fault for this was mostly due to strong teams like PSV and Twente falling off, and Feyenoord having to sell their squads each year to pay off their debt. Ajax won the league selling key players without even finding adequate replacements. It wasn't pretty.
Recently the league is making somewhat of a recovery and it is largely because PSV is back which means Ajax has to up their game as well. Buying Ziyech is a good step in the right direction for Ajax and if they fix their defense they could be competitive in Europe. Now Feyenoord is still odd. We have recovered financially and our starting eleven is strong enough to compete with PSV and Ajax, but our bench is lacklustre. So over a whole season we'll come up short, but for European matches we can really be quite strong. Also Feyenoord at home is a different beast altogether, I wouldn't be surprised if United just 3-0 us at Old Trafford.
So anyway were United that bad yesterday? I think offensively they were poor, Martial and Rashford were definitely struggling with the physical play from Feyenoord. They were also letdown by their midfield as Mata and Pogba were shutdown by Vilhena and El Ahmadi. That said, the same was true for Feyenoord. Honestly a 0-0 draw was a fair result, but Rojo, the linesman and Vilhena thought otherwise. I do feel you can give credit to Feyenoord for their defense, a couple of guys with a bright future in there and others with loads of experience.

I dont know if that was a zone setup that just brokedown or matchfixing..
Conte must have lost a seasons worth of his shit over that.

Did the Chelsea players think they had to separate red and blue on the field to win. Make as big a huddle of blue as possible like in a real life candy crush or something? Because half of the Liverpool players were all unmarked.
