The Real goal is a "fluke" per se in this day and age as most teams now, i thought every team but clearly not, they throw a player to basically stand on the ball. This then causes the referee to normally force the player away and then no quick freekick can be taken.

It doesn't. The only legit complaint pande really has is that it is 3 meters back from the spot of the foul and 2 meters more central. It takes about 90 minutes of his ranting to understand that tho.

The Henry situation is where i think a quick freekick should be allowed when he clearly asks the ref and it is all acknowledged. Nacho was just the first one to notice it. Smart players get rewarded

While I agree that if I were Seville I would have a player literally hugging the ball at the start of the play there has to be a time within which you can take the free kick. It cant be that theres a guy dawdling on the ground likes hes been shot and defenders are getting in position and the referee then nearly 10 seconds go by and someone saunters in to play the quick quick restart. Also quick free kicks should be indirect. Then again the point remains that the defender can practically sit on the ball if he wants to do that so its reasonably fair. Thats my opinion on it anyway, but its not a big deal if it stays the way it is. Its a rare enough occurence and kudos if you pick it up. On May 16 2017 02:16 sneirac wrote: It doesn't. I think that has to do with the fact that the opinion came before the rationale and then was eventually whittled down to by a process of elimination. Pretty standard.

A little bit of backstory: I live in a small village (20k) in NL and we have 2 big amateur football clubs. I've played and am a huge fan of one of them (IJsselmeervogels). We're the most succesful amateur FC in Dutch football by far wih 68 titles. Anyway we won the league last saturday for the first time in years. Some of you probably know me as a big Ajax fan but I love IJsselmeervogels way more. This is almost as big as Ajax winning the Europa League for me.

There should be alot of towns arounda big sea like the IJsselmeer. Or are you some kind of union/spielgemeinschaft between a few cities?

This shows it pretty clearly imo. Ref has a clear view, no madrid player asks for distance. Just because it's a set of rules that relevant and decisive less often doesn't mean you don't get to exploit knowing the rules better. Another dumb example from this season would be veratti getting cautioned for doing a backpass with his head. A rule that is hardly ever going to be decisive, but it's up to the players/management to make sure they fucking do.

They're from Bunschoten-Spakenburg, which is a smelly fisherman's town (formerly 2) on the south side of the IJsselmeer. They're a fantastic team compared to their town size, doing better than the best club from the closest city, Amersfoort (where I live).

The players don't know them, the comentators don't know them... How do you even get a job as a comentator when you haven't read the rule book ? The main commentator (you know, the guy with the knowledge) "was counting the seconds" like it matters at all... Everyone can take free kick without a whistle, unless the referee says that the players should wait. That's it. Most of Sevilla's players were not even looking at the ball... Well they learned something the hard way on this day. Btw, this transfer ban was great for Real Madrid's roster... Now we have Nacho, Lucas and Asensio, because of it.

I still think Kenedy is not a wing back. Limits his potential unless he reinvents himself. He should be playing the attacker. Sadly I don't see a future for him in this club. Also unfortunate that RLC was injured. I wonder whether they will again use the youngsters, or key the first team sharp ahead of the FA Cup final.

The boat that they're on is a botter which in the past was used to fish on the Zuiderzee. Amersfoort is rather poor football wise. Too bad since it's a decently sized city.

Zouma too needs to rediscover his form. I still think Kenedy is not a wing back. Limits his potential unless he reinvents himself. He should be playing the attacker. Yeah was an interesting game per se ![]() Sunday i think all the "big guns" will be back and if RLC is not injured he will either play or get a good chunk of the second half. Win is a win and an entertaining goal fest for the supporters which im sure they didn't really mind in the end haha!

But I guess he values his lifestyle too much to accept it. Also I doubt this would be the ideal choice for his sons school "career".
