well i dont blame mou for the recent performances.
over half of our first team is unavailable through injury or suspension. 9th match in april only when you dont have players to rotate...you cant really expect the attacking performances we were giving like 3 months ago.
im quite happy that weve maintained a very good undefeated run (apparently set a new club record) despite the state of the squad. another 2 injuries tonight is going to make europa difficult in 4 days time and part of me wishes mou sent out reserves players in the league and just outright prioritised europa, but all this is in hindsight. if after all this mou manages to win europa id say hed have done a fucking good job and it would have been a very successful season. if he manages to scrape top 4 and drop out of europa, i dont think any man utd fan in their right mind would complain about that either given how much tougher our season was compared to the rest of the top 6

Nice of Everton to completely roll over against Chelsea. I can definitely see Arsenal winning the NLD after this result, unfortunately. Top 4 is guaranteed if Spurs win so I hope Poch can get the players up for it.

Never mind, Spurs weren't at their best but Arsenal were truly dreadful in the second half. Should have been more than 2, not sure how Alexis got away with that handball.

Spurs are getting much better at putting these lesser sides away.

Yeah Everton might have "rolled over" but it took a stupidly good strike to break them. Not like Arsenal who just played like there shit selves.

Title should be wrapped up and over now, Spurs destined to finish with nothing again and summer should be interesting. Kane interview was quite clear the man wants to win things and well thats 2 failures from 2 after scoring so much etc.

Again, if he wants to go to a non-PL club for a world record fee, so be it. He won't leave Tottenham for anything less. You seem anxious to break this Spurs team apart, so that's a huge compliment to them.

United's medical team just can't catch a break lol

I swear to god at this rate if we ever make it to the Europa league final, Jose himself might have to put on a jersey so that we'd have 11 players on the fucking field.

Jeez...

I wouldn't count that as a failure, they are improving every year and finish above both Manchester clubs who spent like 200m+ total.

I'd call that karma for treating Schweinsteiger like ManUtd did

Yeah United could really use a Schweinsteiger (or Schneiderlin for that matter) right now haha. But man is their squad unbalanced though. They can somehow make do missing either Pogba or Mata, but when both get injured it becomes painfully obvious just how little United have in their midfield to go forward with. I guess Mkhitaryan could be that person? But it feels like he is often used on the wings or simply too far forward.

well to be fair, with schweinsteiger and schneiderlin and a fully fit squad, they were never going to get the games they wanted to play. its why both of them left despite mou explicitly wanting both to stay (although he did mishandle schweinsteiger, to which he openly expressed regret). cant really do much about that when the players ask to leave...you cant guarantee them games because u expect injuries

Well it just what i reading between the lines.
Mourinho wants a proven striker, Lukaku won't play for him im sure or maybe he would, that leaves Kane as the best striker in the premier league in terms of age and next in list. Kane said in interview with Henry this week he wants to win things in his career and he has to win stuff soon. That to me is someone already planting seeds, not saying it 100% cert just that he is inclining he wants trophies and might be willing to move.

Also like i say, Spurs are interested in the money surely, have a new stadium which costing loads and a rising wage bill to keep said stars like Alli and Kane. Ex Liverpool director said that they had chance to sign Alli, but refused due to his wage demands at 17 or 18 whatever it was where way to high and passed up and he want to Spurs. So you can see that he also might be costing Spurs alot or be interested if someone throws a lot of money at him xD

Plus come on i hate Spurs xD nothing would be more joyus than seem them fall back down table because the big stars they created disappear again

Imo united and Chelsea should buy Belotti, the dude seems like a fighter who would fit well in the PL. He's unproven in CL but somone has to give him his chance.

Lots of clubs be interested in him indeed. I mean it looks likely that Augamon leaves Dortmund, so maybe they could use that money to get Belotti too, who knows. However he defo on the watch list in the summer for sure.

It always phatoms me how you can hate clubs that have a clear defined working strategy and long-term plan instead of clubs that throw money at problems (City, United, Chelsea to some extent). They have a smaller budget yet are doing great.

I love the Spurs for what they're doing. I am a bit biased because there's 3 ex-Ajax players in the starting line-up, but still, Spurs seems like a likable team to root for. Everyone loves an underdog story and it helps that Spurs are playing fun to watch football with a relatively young team.

It would be extremely joyous to me if they can keep this up and maybe win a championship one of these upcoming years and become a powerhouse by having a solid club culture with long-term plans.

No if it was Everton doing it i wouldnt mind but it Spurs, Chelsea no 1 rival domestically for many reasons. Not from what they are financially or how they work, just as fan vs fan rivalry xD
So as you know take my comments with a shed load of salt and evil etc

No one can call Spurs season a failure. There's plenty of failure in the Premier League to go around. But Spurs are if anything overperforming.
