Jesus, if they start televising Rugby games in America, I'd start watching it. Great replacement atm for me until NFL starts up.

I love how people are worshipping Phelps like he is the second coming of God. There are no miracles in sport, if you're bad all year, you don't suddenly come back to be the best. Case in point : Agnel or Laure Manaudou.

Meh, 5-6 livestreams here in germany and none showing rugby. Would've been fun, guess I'll wait for the knockout stages then.

Is it possible to discuss something without being accused of being salty ?

France's golden years in swimming are gone and that has nothing to do with Phelps's suspicious performance.

You do sound a little bit salty in general regarding France's performance, though. Case in point:

But anyway, I don't know that Phelps' performance is any more suspicious than his previous performances in similar settings. How do you figure?

BBC will be heavily favored in whatever GB might win at. Shooting we pretty much got our only medal from so i doubt that would be high up on the broadcasting!

I know most of the Swedish team moderately well, and I'm on pretty good terms with Norway's Henrik Christiansen as well - he's probably the funniest, most relaxed guy I know lol. I've met quite a few of the European swimmers once or twice (Luca Marin and Apostolos Christou have both torn me new ones at some point), but I wouldn't exactly say that I know any of them aside from the aforementioned Scandinavians. I don't get to go to a lot of international meets unfortunately, which is why Stockholm Open this spring was such a great experience!

It's a mixed bag. A British guy I know used to smack Adam Peaty around pretty easily, which is pretty cool to think about if you consider that Peaty is now a WR holder, or pretty depressing if you consider how much better his development curve is compared to most people's. It's definitely cool, but I'm so envious of the people that I used to beat in particular that there's a tinge of bitterness as well

Yo, you decided to write books bro. Should have went all in on the Swimming train. You and Phelps could have been BFFS but you decided to fanboy (Z)Life and write Sci-Fi!

I joke but yeah i know what you mean. However it still nice to think i have locked horns with some of the best in the world! Don't be too negative
