Imagine if this was LVG he would have been sacked like 3 times already lol. RM Chelsea competing for most unwanted place for a manager? its not even a contest. rm is hands down the worst club to manage. im curious to see which idiot would actually step up to the job now, since pretty much every 'big' manager has been at the club once already and the only ones left would have no intention of joining (pep, lvg)

I'm curious to see Zidane in action, I've never really liked his personality (too kind, too modest, too introverted, not that it's bad, but I always felt it was a waste he was not more charismatic with this talent) and I never thought he could be a coach one day. Apparently he changed quite a lot, so I can't wait! I still think the team he has isn't balanced, and to balance it he would have to play Casemiro or other more defensive midfielders, and that's not going to cut it with Florentino's marketing strategy. He will have a lot more credit than his predecessors but if you don't get titles, you get kicked out, whether you're called Zidane or not... Another issue is Cristiano. People say Perez wants Bale to become the new symbol of Real Madrid, but CR is still there, I wonder how that case is going to be handled (we'll have to wait next summer I guess). I can't see Zidane become Madrid's Guardiola, there's no way Perez changes how his club works. Or are we going to see a real revolution???

I loved Zidane's personality, made him much more likable.

About Zidane, a large unknown. On the one hand one of the smartest players in the game's history, initially at least the players will respect him but he is very unexperienced. Pep was also without main stage experience when he got Barca in his hands, but Barca is an easier working environment, without a megalomaniacal president and hostile media stirring in everything.

If truly Perez wanted Pep, oh well, thats like asking Yoda to train Kaylo Ren. The solution to most of the Real squad problems is very simple on paper: bench one of the BBC and play with another midfielder. It worked like a charm the second half of 2014. The problem is that Perez's hand is very obvious here, forcing to play with the unsuitable Bale, far after his prime Ronaldo and the pet criminal Benzema, and also trying to fit the new toy James in there, without anyone defending properly. Also he had arguably the best squad in the world to work with! Zidane has a good squad that cannot defend which is why Benitez did not work out. Tried to do something he is not. Like you said playing an extra midfielder is the only way to work the Real Madrid system due to Bale and Ronaldo will track back in a 4-3-3 or 4-2-3-1. Time will tell i guess but Real Madrid fans will be happy now, they have a club legend managing them...how long before they start getting on his back though? Or worst the idiot in charge of the whole thing getting frustrated.

That is the ONLY thing he likes and is going for. As a Real Fan for 17+ years my last hope was Papa Anchelotti however after him there is NO ONE that will be "fit" for Real for more than a year or two that is as long as Perez is there and this broke my heart one too many times ![]() He's not. There's no business which sacks a manager every year. Especially one like Ancelotti. Perez is just crazy.

Pep Guardiola Wants to Manage in the Premier League I haven't decided on a new club yet. I want to experience a new city and I want to work in England. That is the reason I have taken this decision. I have some offers from England, but I've not signed anything yet. If I were 60, 65-years-old, I'd stick with Bayern, but I think I'm too young. I need a new challenge. Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has fuelled speculation he is set to leave Borussia Dortmund after missing the club's return to training following the winter break on Tuesday. Former Real Madrid president, Ramon Calderon says ex-Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho will return to the club if new manager Zinedine Zidane fails. I wish Zidane all the best but I'm sure it's going to be very difficult. He is not the one that the President (Perez) wanted. He was trying to sign Mourinho and he didn't want Zidane. That is the truth. I don't know if he (Zidane) will be successful but if he is not, Mourinho will be on the bench in June.
