Why, that doesn't make sense. You'd rather be last place with an asshole coach than 4th with a likeable one? I don't get why there are still fans supporting mou...

I don't get why people mix personality with competence. That was his point
Mourinho's rants this year have been above his average but to be fair he has had his fair share of unlucky bounces during games and even injuries (plus Cost being garbage, but that one is his own fault for getting him in the first place).
Nevertheless, who cares if your coach rants? As long as he does his job (yes I know right now things are not going well but how many coaches are given entire seasons of free passes without this much crying from "other teams' fans"?)

Yeah as long as he does his job and clearly he isnt doing that at the moment so what is left in the end? And if that really was zeo's point I still dont quite get it because a coach in 4th clearly does a better job, i.e. has more competence, than a coach in 16th right? Also a coach does not only need strategic competence but also needs to be good with people, which mourinho is obviously lacking.

mourinho this season does seem different from mourinho before, and yeah, there are rumours about conflicts with players etc, and he had some of that in real madrid as well. But if you look at the overall relationship between mourinho and his players, the impression I'm left with is that he is exceptionally good with people, because many of his players express a love and appreciation for him which I rarely see - especially not for a manager that is no longer there. I'll definitely agree that this element seemed stronger in his first chelsea spell + his period in inter than it currently does / did at real madrid, whether this is because there's been a bigger clash of egoes (seems kinda unlikely - Zlatan really loves him) or for some other reason, I don't know and I can't speculate with any accuracy, but either way, saying that Mourinho is 'bad with people' doesn't seem accurate at all to me.

And Dortmund scores. I'm expecting Schalke to crumble after this.
€: Or not. That was quick.

Villa look good under Garde, giving City a good game.

Ha, Ginter scoring from a setpiece. Suck it, Schalke!

haha funny situation in the villa game, villa has a throwin where they are supposed to just pass the ball over to city, and they do, but then joe hart fumbles the ball over to a corner kick, and kinda seemed to expect villa to just concede the corner as well. Which they didn't do, sadly no goal, because that would have been even more funny.

L L L L L and then a draw with City lol. Funny old game.

That's the 131st successive Barcelona corner that hasn't resulted in a goal. Something to work on in training perhaps?
Haha stats are funny xD
Oh make that 132 corners xD

Poor sportsmanship, but you do what you can to win.
On second thought, it is sort of a fumble by Hart to not let the ball simply bounce out of play and take the goal kick.
Now let's pump the spuds and go top of the league.

it was a hard throwin but that still qualifies as a fumble imo. and yeah in the slightly unsportsmanlike department, but hart also could have just let it go to a goal kick.

Fresh on the heels of the report that Toronto FC turned down Barcelona's effort to lure Sebastian Giovinco away from Canada, an exclusive report from Calciomercato.it that the MLS club is hoping to double down on its nascent galacticos transfer policy. Giovinco, Michael Bradley and Jozy Altidore might not be the sort of players who would get Real Madrid's attention, but they are about as big a set of names as can be found in one squad in MLS.
The latest rumor suggests TFC may seek to refresh the squad with "2-3 world class players" (says asromalive.it). On the list, reports Calciomercato.it: Roma's Daniele De Rossi and Juventus defender Andrea Barzagli. Former Parma defender Fabio Santacroce is also mentioned.

It looks like today is going to be an absolutely beautiful day Edit: This should have been a 5:1 by now if Schalke would stop developing disgustingly good goalkeepers

Ok, I'll try to explain further. Chelsea is not going to win this year due to...what has happened so far, but I understand that he was implying that neither will a 4th place Arsenal despite the likeable coach (see previous years, this year they seem a little bit better )...and Mourinho has actually won something relevant in the past few years while Wenger...? Not....So he would rather have Mourinho there than a Wenger type coach that is "very friendly" but will probably never get out of that contender routine (lets see if he proves this wrong this year).
I hope this clarifies what I believe Zeo was trying to get at.
Additionally, don't believe everything you read in papers....Mourinho's bad relationship with players as a general rule seems mostly inconsistent with players position towards him even years after he left the club. Still, as I stated in my previous post, yes his rants are more common and seem less like a mind game but rather frustration this year...that may indicate that something else is wrong.
