The problem is that he's just not good enough to keep Germany at the top. I dare you to look at this team and tell me that he's handled it well since the WC. The incredible amount of talent on this team and yet they've under-performed in pretty much every single match during these qualifiers. I'll turn into a believer if Germany actually performs well at the EURO's, but as of now, if you try to tell me that we look good enough to actually perform well and possibly win the EURO's, you're out of your mind. Bullshit. Löw is terrible. He keeps players who suck hard since years and dont even play. No concept whatsoever. We had to get Mustafi get injured so he was forced to play players in their best position so we could win the cup. Löw is still just doing shit with one of the best generations we have. (although lots are doing terrible right now: hummels gifting goals to the opponent, reus out of form, podolski still getting called, özil doing nothing but helping the opponent team in every game, schürrle not playing in bundesliga and not doing good since over 2 years but still getting called over lots of better players, want more?)

Germany absolutely did not win the WC due to his coaching; it was purely due to their skill. He bullishly forced them to play a sub-optimal formation until (I think) the semi-finals of the WC. He also forcibly changed the team into an extremely slow, purely possession-based team when this team's strength is and always has been speed; speed in movement, speed in passing, speed on the counter. Now he continually calls up players like Schürrle and Podolski (one could even argue Götze belongs in this category) and continues to start players like Özil when they simply don't perform well and there are a number of other players that could contribute more to the team. He's also had two years to replace Klose with one striker and he has yet to do that. How the FUCK does one of the best footballing countries in the world not produce a single respectable striker? The only actual striker (Götze and Volland don't count) that's been on the roster since the WC is Kruse, and he never plays. It's not even like a striker needs to be world-class on this team. All we need is one competent striker to be in front of one of the best mid fields in memory. It's great that coaches like Klinsmann and Löw got Germany where they are today, but that's irrelevant. The past is the past. We shouldn't be holding onto a coach just because he did well by improving the team from the 2000's. If a coach is holding the team back, he needs to move on, and Löw clearly is holding Germany back.

Then again, there's probably no real good candidates as the whole organisation seems fucked. Though that Prince Ali did sound decent, but who knows what skeletons he might have in his closet. There's 0 proof until now though... Guilty until proven innocent? Please... I know I might be biased because I'm French, but this FIFA drama is pure bs. The ethics committee suspended him when he hasn't been found guilty of anything (yet?). The only thing you can put on him is that he probably knows how the "FIFA system" works and has done nothing about it, but who has? They're just ruining his chances of running for the presidency and if he's found innocent, I wonder what people will say.
