Also Wolfsburg should better perform good this season because they have to work for their money now, VW will be way to broke to buy them into CL again if they don't place top 4 this season

I mean, don't get me wrong. I don't mind him being banned, because he's a complete disgrace to football. I've argued before that referees should just start every game by giving him a yellow card, because his behavior is to consistently and constantly commit yellow card offenses, either diving for penalty or pissing off opponent players so they might retaliate and get a red - but he almost always stops after the first yellow. In the past 4 seasons (counting these past 9 games as a season), he has almost 40 yellow cards. However, only 1 red. And from watching him, he pretty much always has a bunch of unsportsmanlike acts until he gets the first yellow. After? I've rarely ever seen it happen. It's like, first he pinches someone, then he punches someone, then he dives, then he gets a yellow, and then he stops doing all three. In fact to me, this is why he's such a fucking terrible cunt/sociopath, because what separates him from most other players who are 'like him' is that he doesn't do stupid things after losing his temper, he deliberately has integrated this type of behavior as part of his playstyle. BUT: If Costa's arms, or the chest-thump against Koscielny qualify for '3 matches banned for violent conduct in a post-game review', then holy fuck, there should be lots of banned players. At least just be open about 'he's getting this punishment due to a large accumulation of offenses that were not punished and we're hoping to send a message that it's not okay to constantly cheat as long as your individual offenses are quite small', rather than punishing him for one or two individual actions that were honestly just yellow card offenses.

Overall he should've had a red - because there were so many offenses, but him being punished post-match is just a justified witch hunt to me. At no point during the game did he do anything that could have injured anyone - this alone makes his conduct better than like, every single tackle featured in the Dirty Suarez compliation posted a couple pages back. I have to agree, the lack of consistency is pretty damning.

Lewa's performance was legendary. That was a historical match. Your children will watch that match again and again. Well played Lewa. You deserve every single penny..

Kids these days can't appreciate waiting for something special.

Lewa seems weak or mediocre at everything else (1vs1 situations, ball control, passing etc.)
