@decaf: Just above the shoulder blade on the back, just underneath the collarbone on the front, pain is mostly at the back but depending on the activity in goes deeper/further towards the front. This followed 2 months or so of recurring headaches in my right temple and a stiff neck on the right side. I figured it was a sinus infection or maybe a pulled muscle or nerve in my neck or whatever, #imnotadoctor. I went to a real doctor and she told me to come back if it got worse. Well it didn't, it got better. I still get slight, dull aches in my right temple and my neck is sorta stiff but the pain has mostly moved down to my shoulder. No longer interferes with my daily routine.

For myself, I've been trying to be as consistent as possible with working out for the last month. I think I haven't missed a single workout yet, and I feel like the linear progression has been going fine. I started off very light for all of my lifts, but everything seems to be good so far. Just hit BW+30x6 on pull-ups a couple of days ago and I think I'll be able to continue progressing on every lift for a while. I also just started my spring break, so this marks the beginning of the end of my high school. I think I have like 14 days of school left at this point and then finals, so I'm almost done. I also haven't really updated about my depression or anything. There are days where it's awful, but I have medication for it (non-SSRI) that I take as-needed. It's hard because I have days where I feel absolutely incredible and have tons of energy and then there are days where my I hit an emotional valley and struggle immensely. I'm close to the end of high school though, so I only have a few more weeks of this until I'm done. Pulled a 6:29.8. A crewmate (who has also been rowing since september) pulled a fucking 6:15,0, jesus christ.

I'd try some of this stuff for a couple days (might even see immediate relief) and go from there: https://www.youtube.com/results?search_query=first rib kelly starrett&page=&utm_source=opensearch

When using my arm, it's fine unless I reach across to the left, but if I rest it for a while the first movement afterwards (like taking my shirt off) hurts pretty bad. Seems like you need to find a good chiro

Deadlift - 210x6x2 Back Squat - 165x6x3 Front Squat - 145x3x8 This was still relatively light weights. The front squats are pretty tough on me, but my quads are getting stronger every week and I feel like adding front squats is going to help me break through the problems I was having with my squat. I'm only on my sixth week of this program, but I feel like everything has been going pretty well. My friend and I were going to lift at our school's gym, but for some reason they basically locked every single convenient entrance to the gym unless we felt like taking a 10 minute walk around the entire school. I'm feeling like a 3 plate squat and maybe 205 front squat will be attainable before the summer is over.

The school gym also closes at noon during the exam schedule and we didn't get there til almost 11. Otherwise I so would've done a jog around the school. But I have perfectly functioning equipment at home so why not make use of it?

Might have to resort to cardio. Shamefuru dispray, and I still have absolutely no idea as to what caused it. Best guess I got was that I remember complaining about it for the first time at work after I tweaked it that morning reaching for something on the floor, but that surely can't have messed it up this badly. Second guess is that it's somehow related to those two months of headaches I had, some kind of infection/inflammation that's now creeping down my neck. I'm getting proper health insurance and am probably gonna see a real doctor/chiro if it's not better in a week.
