Yep, comes out perfect. If you add to much liquid just let it simmer on warm for a bit, but i've got down at this point. You can cook rice by itself real quick too.

Different definitions of perfect there. I feel inspired by the music to have a great day though.

I think adding dumbbell pullovers to each of my lifting sessions has added some mass to my pecs which is pretty neat. Still trying to figure out why I don't feel like I can lock my left scapula down anymore.

Yeah something i'm working on as well as my imbalances, rugby, and holding patterns are slowly ruining my overhead position. My right shoulder blade wont lock down in the jerk and my left one won't lock down in the snatch -_-
how reasonable is it to eat off wood instead of your tummy?

Thanks, this is helpful! Its a little strange because the feeling of inability to lock it in is on the left but that also corresponds to the upper trap/neck pain I get so this seems right on.

Back to Aldi, I was recently introduced to the chicken sausage and had my reservations but all the flavors are delicious.

Also, I must have been doing a few things right because my lower traps are sore.

I have to clean the fat, what would you suggest me to do? Is the cardio working for that or not really?

its just a balance between input and output.

cardio works, and also gives you a more powerful and long lasting cardiovascular system.

lifting weights works, and also makes u strong, and muscular.

eating less calories every day works too. i advise lookin for healthy snack alternatives, like diet-only fizzy drinks

'cleaning the fat' happens over a 6++ month process, your mileage will vary depending on how willing you are to struggle for it

OK, we've had a lot of these discussions, so I'll try to summarize the consensus ideas.

-Calories in/Calories Out is more or less bullshit. One side knows that sugar and carbs are the enemy. The other side pig headedly persists in their dogma before ultimately, finally, grudgingly admitting that carb intake is, for all intents and purposes, the lever to control fat loss.

-I won't inject my personal prejudice against cardio here, but most will agree that you can't run yourself skinny. I personally don't think you should do impact cardio if you are significantly overweight.

-If you want to lose weight, the fastest way is to go Keto, but that will make you pretty tired, at least for a while and will make any sort of exercise pretty difficult.

The exact formula for lifting while losing weight seems to be up for debate. First you need to make sure you're cutting out all excess sugar and and crap like that.

My question is, if you're going to eat carbs for only one meal, should it be at lunch or supper?

Can you elaborate on this? I'm not seeing how CICO is in opposition to the idea that carbohydrate intake is the level to control fat loss.

Agree, for big people impact cardio doesn't make sense unless you just love to run. I also agree you can't run yourself skinny, especially the way normal people do it. It can be hard to outeat 100+ mile weeks or 25+ hour bike weeks, but we're talking about 0.001% of endurance athletes, let alone normal people so that's mostly a moot point.

I certainly prefer some exercise though. Being able to lose 1.5 or so lbs per week eating 2000kcal is a hell of a lot nicer than losing 1.5 or so lbs per week eating 1200 kcal.

Might be different from lifting, but if you do endurance stuff there is zero question what the answer is: lunch. You need the carbohydrates to perform. It sounds like this might not impact lifting quite as significantly though.

I think I'm the most vociferous proponent of the Insulin Hypothesis for fat gain. In a nutshell: Carbs/sugar makes you fat, fat doesn't. Where they would differ is that the CICO would say that 2k kcal of fat is equivalent to 2k kcal of carbs,while the Insulin Hypothesis would say that the carbs is more adipogenic. I find the debate amusing because almost everyone acts as if the Insulin Hypothesis is correct but argue against it for semantics. For us relatively young fatties, it almost always boils down to cutting the crap, though.

i think I agree with your Lunch answer. I'm caught between that and probably doesn't matter. I just can't do Keto for very long, especially while trying to lift, so I'm just trying to eat enough carbs to keep up my energy.
