have you tried whey isolate? if you buy a quality powder it's lactose free.

I prefer a self lift off now, it's easier to dig my traps into the bench while unracking

I almost always end up with one of my shoulderblades off the bench, drives me crazy.
Excuse me hun, but what is your name? Vivian? I woke up next to you naked and, uh, did we, um?

Poverty bench crew checking in here. Did 5x5 @ 88kg yesterday lolz. Progress has been steady and easy though, hopefully I can ride 4kg jumps for a while longer and be doing 5x5 in the 110-120 range in a few weeks. Press is at 70kg for 5x5. So weak. I guess it's not that far off my old 5RM of 85kg though. God I'm bad at pressing.

Have you been doing any trap/scap work? I've been doing a lot of lower trap activation stuff and it's been helping with my shoulder positioning and pain.

Is there anything I can do with a barbell for upper back besides t-bar/bent over rows or high pulls? I never get a good pump doing bent over rows and my lower back ends up fatiguing. Tried high pulls today and I don't have experience doing oly lifts so it felt like my traps and shoulders were getting worked more.

Use machines for back. Get better at pullups.

I actually prefer land mines rows where your furthest shoulder is at the end of the bar, and your shoulder nearest the landmine is the arm that is doing the pulling. Have to keep the core tight and provides some rotational torque.

Just switch to olympic lifting. Your back will explode. I'm like 90% quads and back xD

Kroc rows have been great for me for upper back. Should work better to tired out your upper back before your lower if you can lean against something with your free hand.

Basically been following this and it's been great https://www.t-nation.com/training/kroc-rows-101

I am planning on eating and running since its time for mandatory military service 6 months later and I'm skinny and have no stamina whatsoever. I mean how can't a healthy young person run for 1000 meters without stopping?

The day after doing high pulls for the first time my traps are sore as hell but my back is fine, guessing it's cuz I was doing it wrong. I'm gonna start mixing in machines along with the few pullups I can do. Kroc rows haven't been great for me as my grip is weaker than it should be.

Can you guys recommend like 2-3 HIIT routines? I've access to most aerobic gym equipment, rowing, bikes, etc, except a track. IgnE gave me a bike/row/bike/row thing that works for me.

are you pulling at the top of the movement? Cuz my guess would be thats the reason for the traps getting sore, its like doing very high tricep pushdowns - like almost going to your chin with the bar and pushing from there will activate the traps

Get some straps man. I always strap up for Kroc rows.

Do you have access to so-called "battle ropes"? Those can be a fun HIIT thing to do. Pushing a sled back and forth is also fun. You can also try a jump rope / row (or bike) HIIT.

Squatted up to 210kg today and missed at 215. Legs so fucking weak ~~ On the bright side I'm in fantastic shape from all the rugby conditioning.

true, true

but ask most people who is more beastly, that tarzan actor or some rugby player, and they will look at ripped tarzan with his unreal eight pack and say he's a beast
