yep, after June 10th a few did not before June 10 though. and Rogan gets paid to talk about how great every fight will be.
Mediocre at best PPV #s the last 4+ months.
UFC 184 Rousey vs Zingano 590,000 UFC 185 Pettis vs Dos Anjos 310,000 UFC 186 Johnson vs Horiguchi 125,000 UFC 187 Johnson vs Cormier 350,000 UFC 188 Velasquez vs Werdum 300,000
its been 1.5 years since the UFC exceeeded 1million PPV buys and in taht time the highest buy rate was 800,000 on one occasion.
The UFC announced through Mcgregor's bio that UFC 189 garnered 1 million+ buys.
It looks like the world tour was worth the investment... the UFC marketing gods end up milking it for 2 PPVs instead of 1. I wonder how many times Dana goes to church and thanks god that Mcgregor won?
Re UFC 189: Meltzer says his estimates are 800,000 to 1,100,000 buys for UFC 189. In the spring, Meltzer stated UFC 189 was tracking at below 1 million buys. As usual, Meltzer won't have an exact # for several weeks.
he is still unsure whether or not he wants to come back and he feels as though he remained in the UFC for 1 or 2 fights too many. the rumour i heard re: GSP's retirement is that he has OCD and its getting worse as he ages.
In this hard hitting and insightful interview Mcgregor wants to learn how to move like a Gorilla... buy a Tiger.. and run for US President. He'll have to work on changing the US Constitution first though.
Is anyone at all excited to see Correia get mauled? I think the only thing I'm looking forward to is whether or not 1) Rousey finishes it in the first 10 seconds or 2) actually makes Correia suffer and beats the fuck out of her and submits her in like the 3rd.
With that said, this card could actually turn out to be alright. Has some solid nostalgia names on it, and some intriguing match ups like Magny/Maia. Magny has 7 wins in a row with 4 finishes. A win vs Maia really vaults him into a high profile match. Also Lopes/Vieira could be interesting. I don't know much about either guy, both making their debut, but they managed a pretty high spot on the card if the listing I'm looking at is right, so they much be decent prospects at least? :o

Well, the UFC is doing the TUF Brazil finale as part of the event, so some of the fighters on the card are from the show. I think we'll see some good stuff from that.

Yeah, I also wasn't aware she took up MMA 4 years ago as an accounting student because she was starting to get chubby and wanted to lose weight. Rousey is basically beating up soccer moms at this point...
"Rowdy" Ronda Rousey is dedicating tomorrow night's match to the recently dead "Rowdy" Roddy Piper.
the leader of the little high school gang i was in used to run around in a "Hot Rod" T-shirt that said "Woman Maker" on the back of it... just like the one Roddy Piper used to wear.

i think Ronda will go in for the kill the nanosecond she sees the opportunity. Ronda is telling people the fight will be longer to sell tickets. She realizes people do not want to pay $50+ to watch a 30 second match. Ronda is saying all the right things to sell as many PPV buys as possible.

See that's what I'm saying. Some of those Rowdy Roddy Crazy eyes too.
