Cross promoter events would be rare for when a couple have gained a lot of popularity. The idea being (I think I talked about this before) these are places where old guys can go and still be competitive and up and comers can fight big name guys, but the point isn't that they are the best fighters. They would try to be the most entertaining fighters. Everything would be geared toward the entertainment aspect while UFC remained the pinnacle of skill. Every once in a while someone from the entertainment side would build up enough credibility to step up to UFC and might have a small chance to headline PPV, a fight night, or prelim. | ||

yesterday Aldo emphatically denies he has an injury... "it would be Conor's dream". today, he actually got injured for realzies ? c'mon man. i guess Aldo can play the "lost in the portuguese/english translation card" i guess Conor Mcgregor's dream came true.... he truly is "Mystic Mc". | ||

but, who can blame them for doing that...sometimes hiding an injury gets you a pay day you otherwise might not get. He MIGHT have been able to fight hurt , but now that the media knows about it .... lots a luck with that plan. If Aldo can't fight he is out approximately 3.5 million US dollars. And Mcgregor is laying down the gauntlet. | ||
