His cardio not looking so hot. edit: wobbly originally said 'worked'...I should have left it as worked lol edit2: I think Werdum is more tired than he looks. He should have finished, but he's not exactly moving with speed.

I'm not sure if Werdum's style instinctively counters Velasquez's style or if Velasquez was rusty after not having fought for two years, as he didn't seem himself tonight (the altitude shouldn't have been an issue for Velasquez as he could've and should've prepared for it, so no excuse there). Werdum was considerably superior. Can't wait for a rematch! And which happened to take place at his "home," no less.

I really hope there isn't an immediate rematch, because that was total domination. Werdum crushed Emelianenko and Velasquez, so does that make him the best of all time? :D I also can't believe Melendez waited five years to spend 15 minutes staring at Eddie Alvarez in the cage. Well the hell was that all about?

And it wasn't as if Werdum was making life that difficult for him either as he wasn't moving back at a rate of knots that Cain needed to cut the Octagon off much either. He was just standing in front of him moving backwards and forwards working behind his jab and right hand. Cain's corner were asking him to come in with more angles, but he didn't do this at all. He bobbed and weaved without throwing anything off them. He must be really disappointed with how he did. Great to see a new champ. What now for Cain though?
