I like his enthusiasm, having an owner that loves basketball and is willing to spend to win is great.

Its really frustrating watching this guy, because even though he has been the best player in the NBA for nearly a decade he is still like 85% of what he could be.

It seems like everything he does is focus grouped and only done after months of careful deliberation with Maverick Carter and the Argonauts. A Twitter poll, about a meaningless pregame ritual, one that was contrived to begin with, like why? Aren't things like this what dug him the hole to begin with? Aren't these the things that killed him in the infamous Boston series? Its really frustrating watching this guy, because even though he has been the best player in the NBA for nearly a decade he is still like 85% of what he could be. This was a hot take served up hot. Black athlete isn't focused enough on his game. Too concerned about marketing his image. Right-minded non-professional athletes shake their heads solemnly in disappointment.

Why does it matter what LeBron does off the court (as long as he's not hurting anyone).

Too bad for them. He can do whatever he wants and still be the best player in the last 20 years. I guess that is frustrating.

This sounds great to type on a forum but it's pretty much 100% bullshit given every account ever from everyone who has played or coached with LeBron. Dude is the definition of a workaholic, but because there are 16 hours in a day and your body has physical limits, he has time to do things like put up silly twitter polls and work on his brand and cement his foothold as a future business mogul. He is not wasting 15% of his talent because he lets fans decide if he's going to throw chalk or not(he probably 100% knew the vote would come up yes by the way and spent almost no time making a decision). Him being more self-aggrandizing than many spectators would want doesn't mean he is falling shy of potential on the court.
