The goalkeeper of Valencia, Diego Alves is a fucking beast. He has saved a lot of penalties this season.

"Diego Alves now holds a record of 15 stops from 31 penalties since arriving in Spain, with a 48% success rate." Now add another one to that.

Penalty miss Penalty was borderline irregular anyway. I mean there is changing pace/slowing down a lot but he basically stopped moving.

They lost in the Europa League to FC Sevilla, the team that won the cup last year and is basically again in the finals now - and Gladbach was arguably the better site in both games - just too unexperienced to compete with a seasoned spanish team. Next year they will play CL for sure, though they lose some key players (Kruse, Kramer). Next season will be tough. I cannot believe how good this team actually is this season. They probably didn't realize it themselves. CL here we come! I haven't seen enough Bundesliga to really comment. But Schalke, Leverkusen and obviously Dortmund have been off the pace. It's good to see Gladbach and Wolfsburg up there but both teams where understandably short of Munchen. I hope they do well in the Champions League. Do you think there's a chance of a closer title race next year? Who will be the team to go after Munchen? There should be plenty of excitement at the bottom of your League. No one is down yet, plenty to fight for.
