Oh well, Loftus-Cheek looking superb!
I dont know man, its kinda like. Give ball to Hazard and Wilian and hope they do something by themselves from the flank. Fabregas isnt pushing up, Matic is allowed tons of space and doesnt really do anything with the ball and just gives it to someone, usually a marked up Hazard or Matic. I would like to see him try riskier passes tbh. They are affording him alot of space and dropping off which is kinda disrespecting him tbh. To be fair Hazard and Wilian totally look like they have their man beat everytime they get the ball. Wouldnt mind some more fullback overlapping either.
Liverpool are mediocre as usual nothing to write home about.
Expected a bit more adventure. Bit of a dull game for me.
Found on Reddit: In 2009, the Belgian competition formula completely changed. Instead of a first division with 18 teams that play eachother two times, we now have a first division with 16 teams that play in play-offs. First, all teams play eachother twice in the regular competition. Based on those standings, the top 6 play in play-off I, 7th-14th play in play-off II and numbers 15 and 16 play in play-off III. In play-off I, the points gathered in the normal season are being halved and those 6 teams play eachother two times. At the end, the first is champion and the 4th plays against winner of play-off II for a ticket for the qualification round of Europa League. In play-off II, the 8 teams are split in two groups of 4 and start with 0 points. They play eachother two times, then the winners of the group play eachother two times and then that winner plays against the 4th of play-off I for the ticket for the Europa League. In play-off III, the 15th starts with 3 points ahead and they play the 16th for maximum 5 matches. Loser relegates, winner plays another play-off against 3 2nd-division teams for a ticket for the first division... Indeed, a fucked up system. In the beginning, there were many protest actions, from both players and supporters. 5 teams were against it and wanted to distribute their tv-rights on their own as protest, but they were held back as it wasn't legally possible. Even now, if you look at polls, more than 60% of the fans still wants a normal system. Why is it still there then? Money. Extra matches to air, so called "top games", team can sell extra "play-off tickets",... Anyway, you thought this is fucked up? Just wait... In Belgium there is a big problem with 2nd division teams having money problems and not getting a license. This means 2nd division is pretty much a graveyard and some teams don't want to go up or don't care about being relegated to 3rd division. To fix this, they proposed a different formula for the competition: -First division with 16 teams: They play eachother two times. The top 6 will play play-off I again like it is now (points halved and play eachother two times again). The 7th-15th will play play-off II together with 2nd, 3rd and 4th of second division. Winner of that plays again against the 4th in play-off I for European ticket. 16th will relegate. -Second division with 8 teams: They play two competitions where they play eachother two times each (so 4 in total). One before New Year and one after New Year. The winners of each competition play eachother for promotion, so the winner of that will go to first division. The 2nd, 3rd and 4th of second division (points from both competitions are added together) with play play-off II for a European ticket. This idea was approved by the Jupiler Pro League (board of all teams in 1st division) and also by the 2nd division teams. If it is approved by the national association end of June, this competition formula will most likely happen in season 2016/2017... Can you already see how retarded this is? The 2nd, 3rd and 4th of second division can win a ticket to Europe, but the 1st can't. For the 16th in first division, the competition ends in like february/march, as there is no play-off for them. Even if the difference between the 6th or 7th is 1 point or goal difference, the 6th can still become champion, while 7th has to beat 12 teams + 4th of PO I to get a ticket in Europe. Anyway, just wanted to point out it's sad to be a Belgian football fan and I hate the way we are being shoved all this shit up our throats, just because we want to support our teams
