Also saying that now is ok as this is best yanited performance by a million miles this whole season That says a lot more about the "best team in the world" and the "former champion" than it does about United or Arsenal

Its much better to see how much was spent over X ammount of time than just a single season. But to be fair this is going nowhere, im not saying United is better than Chelsea or City (Because they arent) but people have been a little TOO harsh on them, especially considering the ghosts of Moyes season are still moving around Old Trafford.

Absolutely disgraceful decision by the ref. Getting hot in France again as Marseille are super close to taking the lead. GLT needed as no angle can correctly see if the ball is in or not. Then Morel is sent off for a hard charge. One of those "orange" ones that can be both yellow and red. Probably red for excessive force. Rose and Imbula putting their hands on faces and lucky not to be sent off. Insane save from Mandanda.

They are still in the hunt for being crowned best team. Where as Chelsea, is kinda.. you know. Not Mind you, not to say that the CL winner is necessarily always the best team. But that best team is usually still in the mix come April and tends to be winning their own league. So Chelsea have it about half right, best team in England. Sure .. Best team in the world ..... + Show Spoiler + haahahahahahhahahahahahhhaa Or is Winning the PL now a bigger deal than winning the CL. I may have missed that memo.

I think he'd be a lot more successful providing the helf of the spear instead of trying to be the leading edge of the attacking movement. Also imagine Manu next year with Depay strootman and a good centerback. Gona be scary good I think. Not quite sure what you mean by Brazilian AMC, but Rooneys best role is CF with two wide strikes/wingers either equal or in front of him. He doesn't partner up that well with someone in front of him, despite playing this role for a few years now. His best games and best season were as an full blown striker, i think both SAF and moyes made a mistake not playing him upfront ever since the season after 2010 except for the RVP title winning season, its his best position, and we saw that again yesterday. RVP looks past it or no fight left in him, I think we should cash in as much as we can on him, buy a young striker like Lacazette to take over from Rooney or play side by side in a 442 (their styles would compliment each other well i would guess) or play out wide until Rooney gets too old, with Wilson also developing this way as 3rd choice. Then go out and buy some winger/wide strikers like depay, rues or even bale if hes available. Mata, Di maria and Fellaini seem to be a big selection issue, each has thier merits but playing all 3 at the same time doesn't really work for a formation and none of the deserve to be on the bench. Mata - Plays well on the wing and centrally it seems, but moving forward probably want him central with two WC wingers Fellaini - Least talented of the 3 but clearly offers something unique and is on outstanding form. Can play wider CM role or as an attacking mid Di Maria - Blowing cold at the moment but surely his worldclassness is round the corner? Like mata his best position is clearly behind the striker in an AM role. Can't see his future as a winger, maybe that's the reason he's been off form and there are better wingers on the market or players like depay who could develop into better wingers. Best formation i can think of is without wingers in a diamond with 3 at the back maybe(not sure which players are which foot so maybe a bit of swapping sides)? -------------------Carrick/Blind----------------- Depay-------------Fellaini-------------Young -------------Di Maria---------Mata-------------- -----------------------Rooney---------------------
