edit: James Morrison given far to much space strikes a cracking second for West Brom 2:0 edit 2: Brown Ideye scores an excellent header generating all the pace himself from a deflection took all the power out of a cross into the box. West Brom 3:0 West Ham. West Brom have Tony Pulis keeping them his trade mark tight and hard working in defense and have more than demonstrated they have the talent a few other clubs fighting for relegation around them are lacking to score goals. I don't see West Brom having any trouble with staying up this year if they keep playing like this. edit 3: Morgan Amalfitano has got himself sent off. He was only going to get a yellow card for the tackle but got up and pushed Chris Brunt in the face right in front of the ref already brandishing the yellow card who then proceeded to show him the red. Saido Berahino makes it 4:0. He's well and truely off the naughty step.

Fantastic grab for Villa. Timmy did great with the Tottenham youth (Kane, Bentaleb, Mason, and so on), and Villa have a great academy. Interesting to see how much he can do in the short term, though. Villa look absolutely awful and morale must be shit. Maybe a good ol' bollocking would do them well. They have a good squad, so they should be able to turn it around.

Needs a better angle. Also someone needs to talk to Sky commentators about handballs.

A huge amount of credit for the Spurs youth players should go to Chris Ramsey, who is now the interim QPR boss. Tim's league success was almost entirely down to Adebayor, who was kept out of the squad by AVB and wanted to prove a point. Spurs were thrashed in every big match, and Tim blamed the players on each occasion. Not once did he show accountability, even when he played a 4-4-2 at the Emirates in the cup and it backfired spectacularly, or when he played with a midfield pairing of Chadli and Sigurdsson. I want Tim to do well at Villa, but his huge ego might not be suited for a relegation battle. The players are already low on confidence and probably won't appreciate being called gutless publicly by their manager after the first bad result. On the plus side...

The same Chris Ramsey who praised Timmy for his work in the youth team? “He did a fantastic job at Tottenham, I think they’re reaping the benefits of some of the stuff that was put in place four or five years ago to help the academy. I think it was probably underrated the job that he did.” Not that he did a divine job for you lot, but I think he could become a very good Prem manager. Guess we'll see how it works out. 2-0 for PSG now. Lavezzi smashes it in from close range.

Meanwhile Leverkusen are literally worse than Dortmund... Well BVB have looked good the last two games so ![]() That said, Wolfsburg looks fucking unstoppable. That move for Schürrle seriously puts them into the top level of European teams considering what they already had. They have to be favorites for the Europa League now. In other news, Leverkusen does look straight up awful now. With a CL tie against Atletico Madrid, Germany's 4 CL RO16 participators may quickly get chopped down to one or two. Werder is also beating Augsburg 3-1. This Rückrunde is going to be fantastic to follow. So many teams showing completely different form from the 1st part of the season.
