That was an interesting handball claim. His hands where at his side not outsteched or anything. He moved his body in genral towards the ball rather than his hands but it did hit his arm and it wouldn't have hit his body behind that. I guess it should be a penalty because his arm stopped a shot on goal. But he didn't delibatelly use his arm so any card would be harsh.

Penalty was without doubt. His body would not have blocked it and he moved toward the shot, not incidental contact. The official just wasn't able to see it clearly I guess.

It was a penalty, but it would have been very unfortunate too because my impression was that he was consciously trying to not handball. his hand is pretty much as close to your body as it can be when you're trying to dive in front of a ball. I don't think it was a conscious handball at all, but it was still clearly blocked by his arm and wouldn't have been blocked by his body.

Chelsea probably shaded that game though. Liverpool had a bit more possession at the end but I feel like i Chelsea wanted to they could turn it up a notch again. Still, they play with fire because Liverpool should have had a penalty to equalize which would have been the third big game Chelsea tossed away.
