First time i watched football was in 2002. World Cup in Japan and South Korea. Was rooting for the hosts there.
Then back in 2004 or 2005 when i was a student i had a friend that brought me into club football. Every weekend i came to visit him he was watching EPL. That guy supported Liverpool, Arsenal and ManU (guess he likes red color lol). So i needed some club that can dissapoint him. Chelsea was an obvious choice so i started to root for the blues just to make my friend angry haha

Where I grew up everyone loves Ajax. My whole friends/family that care about football love Ajax so yeah, no other choice.

As for foreign leagues, I have a mild distaste for some clubs and I like some other clubs, but I mostly like clubs where players play that I like (ex-Ajax and/or Dutch players and Messi).

Ajax seems like a safe bet, I used to watch their games as a kid mostly because of Litmanen. Even now there's a Finnish captain and a strong nordic representation. Gotta pay more attention next season...

Yeah, it's just that there's no real story of inspiration, since the quality in here is what it is. HJK just won their 6th FC in a row, but struggles against foreign teams just as much as the national team. Last night left me very optimistic though.

I have been a BVB fan since I was 4 (so over 21 years). I saw one of their Bundesliga games and liked the jerseys and players. It has been a great time full of ups and downs.

Lets go Exeter. Ohh Rrrrrr We are Ex,E, Ter. Ohhh Rrrr.

Come on CIty.

edit 1: god fucking dam we look poor out muscled and out worked by a non-league team and concede a really soft goal at the front post from a corner. I worked out why this game is on the telly. They knew they would get an upset with us, LOL.

edit 2: brave goal keeping at both ends keeps the score at 1:0

edit 3: God dam we suck. But I guess that's why a lot of people don't support their local team

edit 4: We need goal line technology, surely that was in? Ref says no, Warrington fans suspiciously quiet behind the goal.

edit 5: You can see the difference in fitness between the Warrington and Exeter players. Some of the Warrington players look physically broken some of them are basically limping, they have nothing left to give. Our players as professionals look fine. But Warrington are still 1:0 up. Fair play to Warrington they are giving their everything here.

edit 6: Robbie Savage's commentary is awful

edit 7: We have a shot saved of the line again. I know its pathetic that we are losing to a none league team but I'm so happy and excited to just see my club on the telly again and such an exciting game.

edit 8: Again the keeper makes a great save. Block after block save after save, we just can't bust through this spirited Warrington defence.

edit 9: Utter bullshit, we're the first team out of the FA cup. In all seriousness we played pretty good in the second half attack after attack really going for it. Just couldn't get it through those impressive Warrington fortifications.

Well I also support Rosenborg, but they are the local team so it's just like, duh? ;p

Although I used to play with a guy who later on ended up playing for them, and I interviewed one of their players for the school newspaper when I was a kid, and I also took part of some rosenborg football academy when I was 10 or so, so I guess I have reasons beyond that.

I started to follow Barcelona with Cruyff aggressive play as coach when the team broke the Real Madrid Monopoly that had for decades (Of course, almost all the people that I knew in my town was a follower of Real Madrid. Barcelona was not very popular before Cruyff. But my father was a Betis follower xD). Back then I was young and I didn't watch the matches at all. I started to seriously follow the team the year of Bobby Robson (The year that I fell in love with Ronaldo Nazario) and the next years with Vangal until now.

Not as romantic as some of the other stories in here but I fell in love with Arsenal shortly after i started playing football for the first time a few years ago after watching Man U win 2-1 at the emirates. Specifically oxlade-chamberlain's epic performance in that game at only 18 years old.

You know its awkward when your best player didnt get invite for NT. Idiot Terim refuses to invite Calhangolu as well as Toprak.

Calhanoglu can even play in Germany NT with his current form.

park was a national hero so naturally i followed where he went. i didnt even know about man utd until park joined (lol. i didnt follow much football back then). after a while i realised how godlike scholes was. then i saw ronaldo and i just loved watching man utd play. one day i decided to learn more about the club and i found out about saf, rivalries, club history and records etc. park leaving was sad but by then i had already fallen in love with the club

Well if you arent hyped enough for the 2022 Qatar world cup you might read this:

http://www.theguardian.com/global-development/2014/nov/07/north-koreans-working-state-sponsored-slaves-qatar

I think its ok. I mean FIFA says "no to racism" but they seem to be ok with slavery which is alright i mean if it isnt in the slogan you dont have to be against it right?...

It's been known for years that Qatar uses slaves to build the stadiums. Fifa and media don't care one bit about it.

Only the climate TOGETHER with the corruption MIGHT be a reason to host WC2022 somewhere else...

We live in a sick world, its really really sad

Why the hell Kolo Toure isnt in starting LU? He was arguably their best player against RM, even motm to me.

I really thought Rodgers was going to be a good manager after watching last season but guess that was all Suarez's magic.

Derby have scored against Wolves. That could be a pretty important game at the top of The Championship.

Pretty exciting day in that league actuall. We have Middlesbrough Vs Bournemouth and Forrest Vs Norwich too.

edit: Also Ipswich vs Watford, missed that one. All the top teams (at the moment) playing each other

edit 2: Derby are 2 up against Wolves now.
