Quintero is starting :D :D :D
Referees are so bad in our league it is not even funny. Let the freaking whistle go....ffs the game is stopped every 3 touches to the ball....disgusting.
0-0 at half time.

United looked really good, although opponent wasn't too demanding. Although with Evans and Blackett in the back I don't see them finishing higher than 5th.

Blackett doesnt seem to stand out, but I don't think he makes many mistakes either compare to other players available at that position. Probably just the lack of confidence and experience. Tbh I don't mind him playing, just need a more experience partner to guide him and he will have good years ahead

I think it's too early to make any kind of conclusions where they'll end up. It's a brand new squad and you can never underestimate the van Gaal factor. He got a very mediocre Dutch squad looking pretty damn good in the World Cup.

1-1 at the end of the game. Oh well...better luck next time.

Very pretty as a whole and the control of the scorer was indeed messi-like.
Someone go bump the CL thread, season starts in 2 days only, xD.

Blind was impressive, played the holding role very well. He should get stronger but Fer is a beast. Blackett/Evans partnership not very good, a lot of sloppy mistakes that should've led to goals. Di Maria motm again, his first goal was a lot like CR7's first goal except from opposite sides. QPR not much of a challenge but the defense was still worrying. Rafael is a lot better than Valencia.

is it just me or does croatia cosistenly still make a fair share of world star players. i remember the croatia fuzz and dream team in the 90's but what gives, how do they still doit? a country with an even smaller population than mine!

Balkan badass haha, hell Zlatan could have played for Croatia as well. Btw Denmark are no slouches either, you guys have had your share of world class players as well. Just recently going through a bad spell, but Croatia had theirs too.

Uruguay will always win in production per population. 3 millions of population, 2 worldcups,15 America cups and players like Suarez, Cavanni or Forlán xDDDD

Well developing young players is the only way our clubs can survive. We're miles away from a decent league or smtgh like that so clubs are forced to sell their yougsters as soon as possible. Two most famous croatian schools of football would be the ones in Zagreb /Dinamo zagreb) and in Split (Hajduk split), but Osijek also has some really good talents (unfortunately due to the money situation they're always forced to sell their young players to Dinamo). Luckily for Croatia, every couple of years some hot young prospect turns up so we're able to have dreams about doing smtgh in the international scene. Also. luckily for other clubs, our new stars are cheap (unless you buy from Dinamo) so they're getting "future star" for pennies. Some of the new players who are expected to break out soon are Halilović (he's in Barca atm), Kovačić, Tin Jedvaj (in Leverkusen, scored a great goal last weekend), Andrej Kramarić (he's still in croatian league-Rijeka, but he has the potential to do some nice things and probably will be bought soon).
