Another thing, horizontal strips like Celtic in Scotland are very rare. I guess they have a rugby feeling. In Spain first and second division, only Granada (my town club) use them.

I wonder how many times out of ten he can do that. In his head he strikes it like that every time. But I bet most strikers would put that high into the crowd more often than not. Another thing I forgot to mention is how much did it help Southampton not having to play at home first. After the summer they have had that could have been a toxic atmosphere and really got to the players. But after watching that performance against Liverpool yesterday even though they lost I bet a lot of Southampton fans will be a lot more positive about the season ahead now. I expect the fans to get behind their team next Saturday back at St Mary’s. put their foot down when their top player, Schneiderlin, wanted to go Let's wait until September before saying that. With two weeks left in the window, we're entering Mr. Levy's hunting ground. Just don't see any reason for Southampton to sell him at this point as they have paid off their debts and it's so late now that they can't replace him. Unless the offer is obscene, like 50 million £ + then I doubt they sell him. I expect him to quiet down, play well this season and then be sold next season to a top club like he wants. I can see a reason: the owner has no interest in the club (she recently inherited it) and is asset stripping so that she can sell it. I'd imagine they'll spend just enough of the money from the exodus to avoid relegation. Remember, Pochettino bought out his contract with his own money and resigned as fast as humanly possible. A few months before that, the chairman Cortese mysteriously quit amid whispers of a rift between him and Liebherr (the owner). Why were they so eager to leave the exciting project that they had put so much hard work into? I could be wrong, of course, but in any case the Schneiderlin saga is far from over. Asset stripping yet they just spent like 40 million pounds in the transfer market? Seems fishy to me. I think they just got a really good deals for a bunch of decent players and sold them because it was worth it.
