Cleveland has a good young roster, cap space to build a team around him and it's his fucking hometown.

i feel so bad for Wade. Bosh is going to leave, LeBrone left, and Wade is sitting there looking like a complete retard opting out of 40 million to sacrifice to re-build a better contender in Miami with his bros. Now he has nothing. The Heat have tons of cap space and no ability to build a top notch team, they've traded a bunch of draft picks to build the team, and now Wade is unlikely to recoup the money he just gave up.

LeBron's message and his goal is noble, but at the same time, he completely fucked over Miami in the process. Mixed feelings. His letter basically said, I left Cleveland because I wanted to go get some easy rings with my bros in Miami, and now that I've accomplished my personal goal, I'll come back to Cleveland and help them win. Seems fucked up

Yeah... wade got pretty screwed over by this process. He's never going to demand that high of a paycheck again.

Poor Wade. I felt they should've made their decisions together and announced them together instead of flipping one by one. Oh well. :/

Please not klove, id rather they develop wiggins than accept mediocrity. Havent er learned, trading for stars sets organizations back, the only exception i can think of is KG, or possibly pau, as trades that actually thrust a team into contention.

Plus wasnt one of the issues before was that they couldnt do anything in free agency? Wouldnt dumping wiggins for klove ultimately hinder their moves going forward?

I dont know, how do you trade for a star player whose never made the playoffs?

The longer it dragged on the more likely he went to Cleveland. To drag it on and then dump Cleveland AGAIN would be a terrible PR move. Interesting that Lebron announced before Carmelo, I suppose Carmelo to the Cavs in a trade is possible? Though all the discussion has been how much Carmelo wants to play in a big city. Still why would Carmelo need to see if Lebron is going to Miami or Cleveland if Carmelo wasn't going to team up with him in either place?

Wades superstar price and his actual basketball price are very far apart, chicago has really cheap owners. I douvt wade to chicago is an actual thought because of this. From a face of the franchise pov he deserves 12-15m a year, from his basketball contributions its probably 8-10m.

Wiggins at 4m and options moving forward is what id rather have than trading for a superstar who wants out anyways. If love wants to be in cle let him walk and sign him on the cheap. Dont trade everything only to turn around and offer him max with bird rights.

If he doesnt want to come next season, he wont be the only free agent.

Plus, i guess i dont thimk he is really that good outside of giving up defensive positioning for rebounds and his actually good 3 ball.

He wants out of minne, which is never a good tradr for the team taking the player who wants out. Deron williams, melo...both utah and denver got the better half of those trades.

Miami will probably over pay Wade out of loyalty like the Lakers did for Kobe, unless Wade tells them he prefers to go to Chicago, but it would be for probably under $10 million.

if they traded for Love it would be with the understanding that he wanted to resign there. Love is the best free agent that might be available next year. The only star free agents if they aren't traded before then will be Love, Rondo, Aldridge and Marc Gasol next summer and Gasol and Aldridge likely stay with their current teams.
