After Dallas agreed to terms with him for 3/30 too. Don't think he's gonna sign though, he took less money voluntarily. little bit of a scumbag move imo, little bit desperate too.

offensively tho he'd be a great fit, but again the problem with the rockets would still be defense

They'll have $51 mill tied up in Howard harden and Parsons... And who's really left for them?

It's gonna screw their finances to a degree without really upgrading them. They'll have $51 mill tied up in Howard harden and Parsons... And who's really left for them? I feel like they have a really good chance at signing Bosh, though now they pretty much have to do it *now*, and then eat the luxury tax after they sign Parsons.

So, depending on the time Parsons signed the offer, let's say it happened at 12:30am. In the span of 30 minutes, all the following needs to happen: 1. NOP unloads their guy, takes on Asik 2. We give up rights to Garcia, Daniels, Hamilton 3. We waive Casspi, Covington, Powell 4. Trade Lin and D-Mo to Philly for basically nothing. 5. Sign Bosh to ~18m (not the max, unless we also unload Bev and T-Jones) per year for however long. 6. Match Parsons. All that in the time between midnight and the exact time Parsons signed the offer three days ago. All this is ignoring the time the NBA league office takes to approve trades... Really, it's looking impossible at this point.

Howard 21.4 Harden 14.7 Parsons 2.8 T Jones 1.6 D Mo 1.5 Canaan 800k Assuming we unload/waive/renounce everyone possible, force Capela to stay in Europe, and trade Asik/Lin, that's our cap hold right now. We'd have to unload D Mo, T Jones, and Canaan somewhere for no salary in return. With just Howard, Harden, and Parsons' current cap hold, we have 24m in room for a 63m cap. We do still have an MLE and bi-annual exception, so there's that. So for a 12 man roster, after considering the exceptions, if we get 6 minimum guys (meaning we'd waive Bev, do all this shenanigans, then force him to take the minimum again), Bosh gets ~18m.

Miami's roster will soon be a mess that isn't quickly fixed. If LeBron goes to the Cavs is wager a love for Wiggins deal could happen quickly. Wade is healthier than Manu. He'll be fine. Interesting how you call Wade broken when he was only bad in the Finals and put up good numbers all year. Did you conveniently just not watch Miami play at all?
