I must say I'm actually really intrigued to see this ECF, despite the Pacers being completely unworthy of being there in general. It could be completely domination by the heat (like 4-0 bad) or it could be like last year. Don't see it being anywhere in between.

When you know a team well, you know what to do. Ya it's kind of like the Spurs/Mavs. The Pacers may look fucked up right now, but damn if they don't know how to play against Miami. After all the bullshit of the last few months they're exactly where they wanted to be: ECF with home court advantage.

Not a criticism of this exact comment, but I find the "youths making young person mistakes" comment usually to be false, or at best, unhelpful (lacking real insight). That is mostly because young teams often are teams that suck, or recently sucked, and it really does take a while to develop a full bench roster etc. You don't draft Lebron and Bosh onto the Heat (which is why San Antonio is amazing because they DID draft Parker and Ginobili and now Leonard while a good team). Thus, there is almost never a "young" team that is elite, because its impossible to assemble such a team. Who was the last really good player drafted onto a team that wasn't just abysmal? Derrick Rose? Look how quickly the Bulls became a really good team (and they were a really good, fairly young team). That is on top of players coming out of college earlier now, so they need more time to develop, so by the time they really hit their prime (and its almost impossible to win big without an elite player in his prime) that player is not only older, but all the players you drafted while you were rubbish are older, and, since you were less rubbish because of said developing elite star, you didnt get to draft any more elite players. Im sure if Washington replaced their frontcourt with Anthony Davis, Blake Griffin, and Kawhi Leonard, people would have no reason to think that "youth" was holding them back.

Would love to see one of them break out of their hibernation lmao!

And I will have a clean sweep for this series if OKC wins. (I bet on OKC before the start of the series, and picked every game winner so far --even though those games didn't follow the script--)
