No one is going to remember that except Lebron haters/detractors. You mean like Isiah's legacy isn't tarnished by the walkoff? In the distant future, when no one remembers Kobe/Jordan/LBJ except as clips and stats you might be right (like how people talk about Russel and Wilt). But the reality is 20 years from the young kids will be confused as why no one really ever considered him in that light, and it will be a lingering feeling. So, yes, he can paper it over with ridiculous amounts of championships, but really he needs to exceed Jordan by a lot to shake that off.

I wish the league would make some changes to prevent and punish flopping/selling calls/whining that "there's no way that foul should be on you, you did not foul, you never foul, how dare the ref impugn your mother's honor by suggesting you might ever foul anyone," when you clearly did you fucking liar cut that shit out and just own up to it. But none of that is new nor is Lebron the first all-timer to do it.

LeBron is far more powerful and just plain bigger than Jordan was, but Jordan always found ways to make something out of nothing, and was probably at least a little bit more finesse than LeBron is. LeBron just says, "gtfo of my way or risk me running into you and probably knocking you over/to the side". The two aren't far off though. It's not a case for basketball skill but the culture and hype around Jordan was different, like he was such a huge thing in pop culture and (although I was really young then) seemed to be unbeatable or whatever, like there was just something different about Jordan and his legacy that I think is untouchable. Like there might be players who come along who will be better than him on the court, but no one will touch the legacy of Michael Jordan.

He complains like a child(and participating in the constant flailing epidemic, despite being a brick wall), ala Blake Griffin, instead of the more Kobe style chatting them up. There isn't a single hall of fame player who didn't bitch and moan to refs all the time. Just because we have a dozen more cameras in every arena and every game can be broadcast to everyone to make it more public doesn't mean it got any worse, we're just more cognizant of it. Also lol at Kobe "chatting them up." That's the most deluded view of this I could imagine.

Many, many people don't even realize so many things they demand of our stars now, guys back then couldn't even do at the same age. Ask people when Jordan started posting up people mercilessly and they'd tell you he was doing it his 3rd year in the league and Lebron took forever to get one. Chris Paul is a failure and can't live up to Magic/Isaiah/Stockton but boy oh boy look at their careers and some of the failures they had. Nostalgia is dangerous.

Even if the Pacers win the series, it's going to be a quick 5 game series with Miami.

If both teams are playing to their potential/to the best that they have this season the Pacers are clearly a better team. If the Pacers play like they did the first 3 games of the series they're clearly the better team. if the Pacers slump and Wall/Beal aren't chucking midrange bricks, then yes they are better.

How can you say the Pacers are "clearly" the better team when the Wizards blew a 19 point lead in game 4? Paul George played very well but the Wizards kicked a game away at home, and the Pacers STILL didn't take advantage tonight. Even when Hibbert scored 28 (which is God mode for him at this point), the Pacers only won by 4. Yea, if we're talking about Pre-All Star Break potential, the Pacers are the better team. But we aren't. If the Wizards win game 6 at home (which is iffy given their past performances), I full expect them to win game 7 at Indiana.
