It's also amazing how much holding and pushing KG gets away with. One of my favorite players all time, but when you see guys not moving I wonder what the refs are thinking.

Craziest part was Lebron got the ball in the middle of the paint slightly on the run, thought he would lay it up. Found Bosh for a 3. Brutal play.

Found Bosh for a 3. Brutal play. Double curl PnR. Look at that off-ball movement. I dunno if the Nets were usually switching screens or not, but either JJ or PP royally fucked up. Pause at the 10s mark. That defense is completely broken. How do you get Lebron the ball 10ft from the basket with no one within 2ft, and BOTH corner 3's open. + Show Spoiler + ![]() So many options right there. That's ridiculous.

His willingness to make the right play over the selfish play. Even though him and other superstars like Durant could definitely make a case for the selfish play being a better play. I think he understands very well that it takes your team out of rhythm if they expect you to hero ball it. I haven't watched him too much in recent years so I don't want to be a homer, but I think the only times I've seen him hero ball are when there aren't other offensive options. When he said he could score more PPG but doesn'ta do that over making the play that is best for his team or trying to get the best shot, I actually believe that. I.e. when he was on Cleveland vs the Magic and he'd walk it up the court and nobody would really do anything or rotate or move.. so he'd just try to make a shot happen for someone, or try to create his own shot. That complete lack of offense was painful to watch.

His willingness to actually pass to teammates is wildly under appreciated. It's actually mega appreciated... until his teammates miss the shot, then it's the biggest firestarter for why he's not 'built that way' to be a true legend and whatnot. But ya what you said is basically what I meant with my above post about him making the smart/correct play. LeBron might legitimately be the only player sniffing that 'one of the best of all time' label that makes that pass with a) the game and b) 50 points in a playoff game both on the line. AND HE DID IT TWICE IN TWO POSSESSIONS. He did choke on that last FT though =p

@Haiq: I wouldn't go that far. I'm sure a few star players would pass there. The important part is how many people are on teams good enough to even get into a position like that with that kind of play being executed, and with the ability to pass so accurately.

Hilarious how the masses under appreciate good team basketball. I don't know how to find the statistics but I'm pretty sure making the good pass has a much higher percentage goin in than a wild hero-ball shot.
