Also, everyone's known for a while now that the biggest problem the Clippers could face would be if either Blake or DJ got into foul trouble or got hurt since they have no quality depth behind them. Game 1 showed this very clearly, as the Clippers were forced to rely way too much on Big Baby with Blake struggling with fouls all game. Blake needs to be much smarter about this type of situation in the future and realize that he is way too important to be stuck in foul trouble. The only solace to be had is that Blake was very effective when he was on the court. | ||

Once he settles down the Clips should make it through. It might go to 7 though--Curry and Klay are due to get hot a couple of games. I think the Clips' front court advantage should get them through if they can exploit it better than today. The refs are very keen to keep a lid on any tensions in this series though after what happened in the reg season. | ||
