It's "I'm going to call a double tech because I want to let the players know who is in charge." It's very similar to the time TD got a tech for being on the bench. The replay shows clearly that Duncan got tired of Perk still holding him long after the whistle and removed Perk's arm. Perk, his testosterone oozing out of his eyeballs, then pushes TD for... not enjoying a long hug? The double tech is almost always a bail-out for the refs to do something even if they're not sure what actually happened. I can't remember the last time I saw double tech that seemed reasonable. | ||
