If only they had played this well with 11 I wouldn't have wasted 1,5 hour of my life xD But that's sport I guess, you get the good with the bad. Congratulations Barca fans! Was only 1 team that deserved to win tonight and that was Barcelona. On February 19 2014 06:37 Steveling wrote: This barca is awesome. And to think messi didn't even produce one highlight move, xD. I keep telling you guys, Tata's barca is not even close to the fiasco Tito's was. You can't really blame Tito for how the team fell apart last year. They looked sublime when he was actually coaching/managing.

You don't go to the Nou Camp with a 0-0... Barça passed the ball a lot better than recently, but they still didn't create any chance. After the red card, they tried 5 minutes and then conceded attempts that they shouldn't 11v10. Thank god Alves scored, which is funny because he should have been sent off with all the fouls he commited :p

Other than that, City played well I think but they should've just played with their normal gameplan from the start. They're playing at home, you're used to attacking, so I have no idea why Pellegrini chose to play with a more conservative gameplan. You should always stick to what you're used to imo. The red card mattered for sure, but it wouldn't surprise me if the end result would've been the same. 0-1 down with a match coming up in Camp Nou, they'd be attacking with the same ferocity to get at least a draw, so the space would've been about the same. Given that it should be 0-3 now (with the wrongly disallowed goal, that was definitely not offside) I think Barça could've scored one more anyway. They even had some more 100% chances than just the ones they scored. City looked good in the last 5 minutes because they were playing all or nothing, and it cost them a second goal (granted that it was a good goal by Alves). Valdez also made some killer saves at the end. Anyway, back to the tele to watch highlights from the other matches ![]()
