They score to much for me. Bale is getting fitter and fitter, meaning they have 2 Ronaldo's in the team. Have Di Maria and Isco on top of that. All they are missing is a striker as Benzema is not liked by the fans nor is he finishing as well as he needs too lol

I just don't want to face Galatasaray, Drogba coming back to the bridge without us having a striker is a disaster. He will be so up for it he will score so much then cry at fulltime lol.
However i think Chelsea might buy a striker in January now with how shit ours are So maybe i won't mind whwo we get as the games be played until February

I have to give credit to Higuain. I thought he'd flop for Napoli given his previous record (he had 8 goals in 48 CL apps with Real Madrid, and only like 3 goals in 18 apps against Barca or something), but he's been impressive, 4 goals in 5 CL apps (101 minutes per goal), and 7 in 13 in Serie A. He also has 6 assists this season.

Confidence changes a player
I've always prefered him over Benzema... But Benzema might be more suited to play with Ronaldo/Bale because he's not a real 9 and can do some more defensive work (freeing CR/Bale a bit). Benzema's also less individual which is not good for a real 9, but not bad when you have the Ronaldo/Bale's type of player around you.

Imo the last ranking shows who the real threats are (except leverkusen)

It shows what dortmund is really great at. Having/creating tons of chances with low ball possession.
Does anyone know how they manage that? Is Klopp a genius?

Imagine if Dortmund scored half the chances they create, they'd have been top of their group easily

Lol Mourinho said after the match he wants Drogba to come back to Stamford Bridge with Galatasaray so he gets the same reception Mourinho felt against Hull in our first match xD

It's funny that German teams are dominating the shots per game category, I just read that
Germany create more scoring opportunities than any team in the World Cup, averaging 20 shots per game since 1966.

Since 1966
Ahhh that magical year, god i love when Germans post stats its always so nice for us English.
Yesterday it was Bayern only lost so many times since July 12 which reminded me of Chelsea beating them in May 2012
Now its 1966 and being reminded of winning the World Cup :D

Klopp has to be a genius. In 2008, Dortmund finished only 13th (!) in the Bundesliga, when Klopp overtook them. And now look at how they developed. I wonder if any other coach on this planet could have achieved the same with these players. Only judging by the raw player material, nobody would rate them among the top 20 european teams, let alone 5 years ago.
Additionally, Dortmund constantly have to release their best players, yet they stay on this level.

Not to mention they are doing all this now with seemingly half of their first team injured.

UEFA Youth League group stage final standings

Some interesting results in here. Chelsea won every game, yet Man Utd, Bayern, Dortmund, and Ajax didn't make it out of the group stage D:

Sounds like Arsenal, having to constantly sell our best in the past season and always a lengthy injury list. I find Dortmund and Arsenal to be similar.

I think if you swapped united and arsenal, pot 1 would actually be the current 8 best teams in the world.

City > chelsea atm imo.
Mourinho is clearly uncomfortable with his current squad.

Well it´s CL so it should be that way. The Ro8 could be so stacked, if the favorites all win it will be one of the hardest group stages of the last years.

Should be sure, but it's rare for the stars to align to this degree
I can agree that city > currently chelsea though, although it's hard to say cuz city is basically two different teams where one is great and one kinda sucks, and chelsea is consistently not so great but much better than the city that sucks.

Honestly Liverpool has probably been the second best team in PL so far, even if it's mostly Suarez.

So who are your favourites now?
For me:
1- Bayern, so stronk, they didn't really play vs Manchester City
2- Real Madrid, Ancelotti is finally starting to make his team play better, enough to win the CL?
3- Atletico, they are freaking scary to play, it would be even worse in a 2 legs playoff

I'll put Barcelona in my top 3 if they show something more in the next games and when Messi comes back.

Bayern has to be the favorite to take away another Treble from this year. They are so. Fucking. Stacked. It isn't even funny. An absurd amount of depth in that squad, and the only reason they don't blow out every team by 5+ goals is because they don't really care.

Come knockout time, this team is going to be a fucking powerhouse against anyone. The only team I see as having any chance against them is Real Madrid.
A sound mind in a sound body, is a short, but full description of a happy state in this World: he that has these two, has little more to wish for; and he that wants either of them, will be little the better for anything else.
