I have to give credit to Higuain. I thought he'd flop for Napoli given his previous record (he had 8 goals in 48 CL apps with Real Madrid, and only like 3 goals in 18 apps against Barca or something), but he's been impressive, 4 goals in 5 CL apps (101 minutes per goal), and 7 in 13 in Serie A. He also has 6 assists this season.

But Benzema might be more suited to play with Ronaldo/Bale because he's not a real 9 and can do some more defensive work (freeing CR/Bale a bit). Benzema's also less individual which is not good for a real 9, but not bad when you have the Ronaldo/Bale's type of player around you.

Barcelona Imo the last ranking shows who the real threats are (except leverkusen) It shows what dortmund is really great at. Having/creating tons of chances with low ball possession. Does anyone know how they manage that? Is Klopp a genius? Imagine if Dortmund scored half the chances they create, they'd have been top of their group easily

Barcelona It's funny that German teams are dominating the shots per game category, I just read that Germany create more scoring opportunities than any team in the World Cup, averaging 20 shots per game since 1966. according to castrolfootball.com.

In 2008, Dortmund finished only 13th (!) in the Bundesliga, when Klopp overtook them. And now look at how they developed. I wonder if any other coach on this planet could have achieved the same with these players. Only judging by the raw player material, nobody would rate them among the top 20 european teams, let alone 5 years ago. Additionally, Dortmund constantly have to release their best players, yet they stay on this level.

UEFA Youth League group stage final standings Some interesting results in here. Chelsea won every game, yet Man Utd, Bayern, Dortmund, and Ajax didn't make it out of the group stage D:

I find Dortmund and Arsenal to be similar.

The Ro8 could be so stacked, if the favorites all win it will be one of the hardest group stages of the last years.

Should be sure, but it's rare for the stars to align to this degree ![]() I can agree that city > currently chelsea though, although it's hard to say cuz city is basically two different teams where one is great and one kinda sucks, and chelsea is consistently not so great but much better than the city that sucks. Honestly Liverpool has probably been the second best team in PL so far, even if it's mostly Suarez.

For me: 1- Bayern, so stronk, they didn't really play vs Manchester City 2- Real Madrid, Ancelotti is finally starting to make his team play better, enough to win the CL? 3- Atletico, they are freaking scary to play, it would be even worse in a 2 legs playoff I'll put Barcelona in my top 3 if they show something more in the next games and when Messi comes back. Bayern has to be the favorite to take away another Treble from this year. They are so. Fucking. Stacked. It isn't even funny. An absurd amount of depth in that squad, and the only reason they don't blow out every team by 5+ goals is because they don't really care. Come knockout time, this team is going to be a fucking powerhouse against anyone. The only team I see as having any chance against them is Real Madrid.
