Don't think that a Club where money is being thrown around in such a fashion can ever be something like a dark horse.
I think Dortmund or Juventus Turin will be the dark horse this season. They are the only top teams of last season taht dont have a new coach like Bayern, Barca, Madrid and ManU.

I think the two favorites are Manchester City and Bayern. They have the deepest squads in Europe, and great managers that know how to use them.
The other favorites for me are: Barca; Real Madrid; Chelsea; Dortmund; Juventus; and PSG.
Dark horses would be: Milan (if they in fact get Keisuke Honda, holy hell they are going to be scary), Napoli, Porto, Benfica, and maybe Galatasaray if they get a good group draw.
Man City + Pellegrini should do really well in Europe, but I wouldn't consider them favorites in his first season yet. Even with a deep squad, Pellegrini first needs to get rid of all the Manciness in the squad To me Bayern look like the only real favorites.
Dark Horse for me is fkn Napoli and Rafa Fkn Benitez! Guy is a twat, but dammit what a squad he has built already. Even without Cavani that Napoli team looks more than capable of giving any team in Europe a good game, especially over 2 legs and with Rafa's /defend then counter a few times methods he installs.
Bayern favorites for me even if they did lose a super cup to Dortmund. Potential Super Cup of Man City vs Bayern could be a nice little look as to where Man City are. But like Man Utd, Man City results in Pre Season have been pretty woeful
I don't think Bayern will do as well this year. Last year they were all incredibly hungry because the year before they became 2nd in every league. I think some players just won't put in the same amount of work they did last year. Or maybe I'm just wrong :D.

Rafa had a much better team when he inherited Mourinho's Inter and what did he do in Italy?
Yeah but that squad was pretty farked when Mourinho left. Every player was pretty old anyway (like Drogba age) the team was devastated when he left and Rafa changed to much and everything fucked up. I think with what and who he has signed he will be fine this time, will do well in Europe and ok in the league. Next season he might even win the Italian league ^_^
Me too because that would mean he is doing bad with them and with there squad i think they could be half decent xD So hopefully its another major fuck up XD

Speaking about ManU... I really hope that this preseason would just be a preseason. Getting kinda worried.
