half a foot is forgivable because the linesman should give the doubt to the attacking side I believe. Still a shame about the decision then

Nice first half, not so much second one. It's really time they punish dives from replays, players would not fall so easily.
Ronaldo was the worst, absolutely shameless diving from him all game. I was getting a better opinion of him, but he shot it down instantly.

lol wut
as far as I saw, Fabregas bumped into Pepe because he wanted to celebrate and then Pepe went aggro. That whole headstomping did not happen and definitely not by Fabregas because he was also on the ground play-acting (photoshop?).
Anyway, great match. You can definitely see the difference with Clasico versions of the past few seasons. So glad Mourinho is gone, he pretty much single-handedly killed off the best match in club football for 3 consecutive years =[.

Oh I see. Well that's dirty then. But then again, wouldn't have happened if that moron didn't pick a fight in the first place.

I guess that's the kind of game that happen when you have so much offensive power against poor defenses (or at least badly organized). The result was bound to be random... It came down to the efficiency and to events like the red card :o Atletico 1st!!! And the last game of the season will be Barca-Atletico :D

You can see his feet lying on the ground. It's someone from the other catalan heroes.

Yeah no one else seemed to pick up on that, pretty naughty by Neymar if he did do that, but again you need be some eagle eyed ref to notice that. He would of been too busy noting down who scored in his book xd

Oh then Real will most likely be the happy third, no? If barca beats Atletico Real wins the league lol

Ronaldo was victim of most fouls by Barca...

Yeah the refs are supposed to write down the score one at a time, so if the center is writing, the AR watches, but that would be very very hard for the AR to see.

Benzema FFS, could have turned it into one sided stomp, instead he missed and missed and all we got in the second half is a one man show by the referee with the dubious penalty on Ronaldo and the not less dubious red and penalty against Ramos.

He went down so easily every bit of contact.

It was a fun game anyway.
Do you think if in the hypothetical final week, Barcelona has no chance to win the league, and Atletico has, they would let Atletico to win?

I'm sure these 3 teams will lose some more points because of the Champions League. Since I bet on Barça and Madrid in the Quarter Finals, I guess that Atletico will have less games to play! There's also the Copa del Rey final between Barça and RM, so it's very probable that they'll lose even more points. It's going to be amazing anyway =D

Well heres the run down for the next month or so.

Real still in the box seat with Atleti and Barca slogging away at each other till the end of the season even if it is 2 CL fixtures

Sevilla's game is a huge trap for Madrid though, Di Maria and Ramos out because of the cards. Real Sociedad game in between Dortmund games too :o A bit easier in la Liga for Barcelona.

Well Espanyol isnt a gimme and this isnt the run down till the end of the season just the next 6 fixtures. They have Villareal aswell
Real doesnt look flat when they have to play inferior opposition and Sevilla shouldnt be a problem. They also have Valencia but honestly I dont see Real dropping to many points based on form.
But yes if Real were to slip the Sociedad fixture would be it, problem is Dortmund dont really look like they will bother Real much unfortunately.

This was the best El Clasico in many years, and the race for La liga title is more exciting than ever :D

If we(Dortmund) loose 0-2 or end with a better result, i'd call it a succesfull first game vs Real. Lewandowski not playing hurts as much as if we would only play with 10 instead of 11. I really really hope Dortmund can somehow step up their game and advance though, not giving it much of a chance atm :<
